We had a fantastic 3 night stay in this charming resort in Pak Chong.
It is situated in a very calm and quiet area, close to a local village and crop fields. The fresh air, the calm and the sound of the crickets at night is amazing.
The rooms are big and comfortable. The bed is huge! All of them came with a terrace with a fantastic view of Pak Chong countryside. Small fridge, air dryer, amenities, a chaiselongue sofa, desk and a kettle with coffee and tea are also included. The rooms were great but I was really amazed by the common areas for reading and relaxing. The decoration was just exquisite and they were very comfortable with sofas and cushions.
The resort has a restaurant with affordable prices. Lots of magazines and books are also available for the clients. Swimming pool area is very well maintained, same as the gardens. There are sunbeds and you can be served drinks and even food by the pool. The house is surrounded by a garden with plants and fruit trees. It’s very relaxing to go around for a walk. We went running several times around the house and the village around the crops. Much better than running at a park. Yoga classes are available for free at weekends.
Breakfast was very complete and healthy. Homemade bread was delicious and amazing selection of teas is available 24h for free, as well as water, some fruits and cookies.
This is a family-run resort with a superb quality service. The manager was very attentive and extremely kind with us and the restaurant staff is very well trained, perfect service. We even had the chance to meet the owner and had a very enjoyable conversation with him. Also, his nice daughter was our trainer for the yoga classes. The really made us feel at home.
Better ask directly to the resort for rates. The ones that are published in their website are more expensive. Rates at weekends are slightly more expensive than at weekdays.
The manager allowed us to check out late just before our train to Bangkok. He even drove us back to the train station! We were very grateful.
It’s very easy to reach Pak Chong by train from Bangkok. Use the express train and you will be there in 3 hours. Air conditioning cars are more comfortable. The resort is just a short drive from the resort and there are taxi drivers in the train station.
