We went on a Tuesday evening when they do buy one get one free on Pizza. As a result it was quite busy though not overly so, and we expected to wait a bit for our food. After a half hour the waitress apologised for the delay in getting our food, but we were unconcerned. After another half hour, during which time people who had arrived about half an hour after us had been served their food, we enquired about how long it would be. The waitress was apologetic and said that the chef was making the food in the wrong order - as in he was taking the tickets that just arrived and forgetting the oldest orders. It was over an hour and a half by the time we got our food - I'm pretty easy going about these things when I'm on holiday, but this was ridiculous. On the bright side the pizza was pretty good and pretty cheap on the deal they had on. And they just managed to avoid complete disaster - the people who arrived just after we got our pizza were told that there was no more pizza, so it looks like we got the last pizzas in the place - it could have got ugly if we waited an hour and a half and were told pizza was off!
To be fair, we did return the following Tuesday, but during the day. Having checked there was no one else waiting and not expecting a rush of customers at that time of day, we took the risk. We got our pizza promptly and took the free one away in a box for later.
