“Good tacos/nachos; Belgian beers; food truck Monday & Saturday ”

Found this nice small brewery on our latest visit to the East Mountain area; they’ve been open just over a year. They brew mostly Belgian style beers and pour additional ones from other local breweries. They make pork or bean tacos and nachos, but don’t seem to advertise that fact; just ask. A food truck is here Monday and Saturday from 4-6 ish. Good place to stop for a beer.

They have a club membership that gets you a buck off every pint and growler fill - it cost $12 at the beginning of October. Do the math and it could be worth it if you’ll be in the area for a week or so.

We stopped by for taco Tuesday and were NOT disappointed. The tacos were very good and the local beer and hard cider was equally tasty. It is a nice addition to the east mountains that will be a spot to become a regular.

Ale Republic is a small, local brewery with interesting, modern craft brews. We tried it just a few days after it opened and plan to return. Small selections of pub snacks to go with the beer but I believe they have expanded the kitchen some since we went. This should be an up and coming place. This is not really a restaurant, but a pub. It is a little hard to see from the road, but if you watch for the post office, it is directly south.
