Started going to the Lizard 10 years ago. Menu has never changed. You can only eat so many mediocre pizzas before you stop going. Nice view of the East Mountains however. Nice cold beer.

Stopped in with family for beer and appetizers. Great cold beer, appetizers were good as well. Waitress/Bartender was as pleasant as I've ever seen Friendly and helpful and beautiful to boot.

This place isn't fancy, it's a local bar to stop in and grab a drink and some bites and just chill. This is exactly what you can do here.

We came here primarily to hear a band. In reading reviews of the food, it was really hit or miss. However, the pizza was consistently reviewed as being very good, so we stuck with that.

We also got an order of chips and salsa. The chips were just poured from a bag, but they were good. I don't do salsa but my dining companion said it was good, possibly from a jar, but still good.

The pizza was VERY good. We ordered the anaconda, and it was on a thin crispy crust. It was very tasty. The price was right too. (For some reason, I forgot to take a picture of the pizza! Got the menu but not the food. Lame.)

Service was good, maybe a tad slow. For example, when the food arrived, my dining companion would have liked to have ordered another beer. but the waiter bolted off before he could do so, never to return. So he went up to the bar and ordered. No big deal I guess, but kind of odd. Typically when waitstaff sees an empty glass or bottle, they naturally inquire if you'd like another--more money for them.

It's a good place to hear a band too. Good acoustics and room for dancers.

I'd go there again. It's not close to us so we'd probably only go when a band we want to hear is playing there but good to know we can get a decent meal.

The beers available are listed on the wall, to tell you the tastes, alcohol level, and character of the beers, plus 1 "fruit" flavoured Cyder.
The food we had, was tasteful and filling. They do have an outside patio which is Dog friendly. If you do sit outside, you can watch the cloud formations travel by.
This restaurant is on hwy 14, and close to the hwy to Sandra Peaks.
