We stayed in a two bedroom cabin the end of June when the rest of the South was sweltering, the days here were cool and pleasant. We really did enjoy our stay here. These are cabins which, in my eyes, are expected to be rustic but they are very clean. The kitchen was fully stocked but if you are looking for luxury furnishings, you won't find them, just the basics. There is no a/c but we were comfortable with open windows and ceiling fans. Beds were comfortable. We were in the back units which appear to be duplexes and the second night someone was in the other side so if you have noisy neighbors it could be a problem. There is a picnic table outside of the cabin and chairs to sit in the front, which we enjoyed. Wi-fi was spotty at our cabin so we walked down to the office area and it was better. The office is out of a realty company and they were really busy so cannot say that we were given the "overly friendly" treatment and had to wait for them to get off of the phone. All in all, a great place in Cloudcroft...very convenient.
