My wife and I stayed here over New Year's 2011, 2012 because we were visiting family in the area. The rates were decent. The room was clean and the hotel was quiet, all the things important to me and my wife.
The front door is locked at 10PM and you have to call to get in, which I would expect in a owner/operator motel who is asleep, but not in a hotel like this. We were also told that the exterior doors were broken and that we would need to call every time we wanted to come or go after hours. That was a little bit of an inconvenience, but not that big of a deal.
This is a hotel designed for long term residents, not a typical nightly guest like we were so it had plates, pots and pans, etc in the rooms. We didn't use any of that, but it was there which was Ok.
Overall, this was what we needed it to be, a clean, quiet, safe place to sleep for a couple of nights.
