We stayed in a large L-shaped suite. It was a comfortable room and was clean except for a bit of dust in places and some cobwebs in the corner of the ceiling above one of the tv’s. The place was nicely decorated. It had two heating/cooling units which were easy to control as they had the temperature listed on the thermostats. There were two televisions, but they were next to each other and only about 10 feet apart. I loved all the lighting throughout the room, both lamps and ceiling lights. The shower had both a rain head and hand-held showerhead in this handicap room, and there was always hot water available. The shower curtain needs to be longer. The curved shower curtain rod holds the curtain out too far, and the curtain keeps falling out of the tub. Try wetting the bottom of the curtain so it sticks to the tub wall to help keep it inside the tub. Water pressure was low, and you had to hold down the toilet handle for it to flush. Wifi connected ok and stayed connected. There was a laundry room on the second floor. It included one coin-operated washer and dryer as well as a vending machine for detergent. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, cereal, bread, muffins, etc. The eggs didn’t appear to be seasoned, although there were salt and pepper shakers available. There was one slice of bacon when we got there, and we never saw things being replenished while we were sitting there eating. There is a $5.00 resort fee charged, but there is nothing special about the hotel or the area to warrant this fee, in my opinion. The room receipts are not slid under the room door like many other places. They are left face down on the floor outside the room in the hallway. If the receipt won’t fit under the door, I would prefer to get it the next morning at the front desk or have it emailed to me rather than leave personal information (name, address, etc.) lying in the hall for anyone to pick up. Overall, this was a nice room; and I would consider staying here again if in the area.

Positives: comfy king bed, rain shower head along with a regular shower head, decent breakfast w/strawberry waffle batter, fresh scrambled eggs, and sausage, decent amenities with a hair dryer, frig, microwave, and safe. Property had a beautiful, welcoming lobby, and the first floor environment was so clean and sharp looking. The bathroom was fully tiled with made it look very nice. The best thing is the staff. They are super nice and friendly. The front desk manager Brandy is also very helpful!

Negatives: carpet in rest of building not so clean, carpet in our room especially needed to be shampooed because it was filthy, the room was "worn" with dirty looking furniture, dents & dinks throughout the room, non-working hairdryer, charging station, and safe, frig stunk like it had moldy food in it for days, door to cabinet would not close, and the walls are super thin I could hear our neighbors talking at 3 am. Lastly, the TVs are flat screen but not the best quality. We didn't try to the sofa bed so I can't speak about it although our room had one and there was a pool and hot tub but we didn't have time to give it a try either.

Not sure if it was just our room but it could use some minor improvements and quick fixes to make it a great stay. Overall, decent stay with a comfy bed, quiet surrounding with the occasional convo from the neighbors and okay breakfast.

We stayed two nights, and members of the staff always had a smile for us as we passed in and out. Check-in was a breeze, and our room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was fine. Located near a Holiday Inn that has a happy hour starting at 5 p.m. With the temporary closing of the nearby Mexican restaurant, there's not a lot of food and drink within easy walking distance.

This was the least expensive hotel in our entire vacation, and arguably it was the best hotel we stayed at. The tile work is beautiful. Our room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed. The bathroom was clean and beautiful. It's nice to have two t.v.'s and a sitting area in the room. The pool area was great. The pool water was actually warm--it was the nicest temperature of any hotel we stayed at on the trip. Breakfast was great (and busy). It took a minute or two to find a place to sit. The only complaint I heard was that the hide-a-bed mattress was really uncomfortable--you could feel the springs of the bed. Other than that, fantastic stay.

We stayed in mid-March on the third floor. The room and breakfast were fine. However, check before you book for a $2.50 misc. charge and $5.00 for a Resort Fee. We did not see any resort features. We do not understand these extra charges which are beyond state tax and county/city tax. The total taxes and fees were more than 20%.
