2 things really were a disappointment:
- the guy leading the trip was very uninspiring and really didn't blend in with the guests: he literally told us we would 'only get wet' when we would get into the cage because the visibility was very poor and we wouldn't be able to see any sharks. Well he was right about the visibility (1-1,5 meter) but you could defenitly see the sharks and besides, it's also very much about the experience being in the water next to those enourmous predators. He really didn't care and we all felt he wanted to go back as soon as possible. He said it would be a short trip because of the visiblity but the truth is the next group was already waiting at the shore.. That brings me to the second point:
- we were anchored only for 1,5 hour max, maybe even shorter. We got into the cage once and although visibility is poor it still is a great experience.. Too bad the guy didn't care.
Not the whole crew was lame but he lead us and spoke to us and he managed to bring me down and take all the excitement away. I am very happy that I went though and I am even more happy that almost everybody went into the cage even after all the reasons he gave us not to.
So, will do it again for sure, amazing experience, fantastic animals. But not with him again, so not with this company anymore...

“Amazing, amazing, amazing!”

Amazing, amazing, amazing! I have been lucky to go to 45 countries and do
numerous "tourist" adventures. However, the success of Shark Diving Unlimited was unprecedented.

All the 14 people on the board got an up close and personal look at the great
white. But what separated Unlimited from the normal outfitter was the pride in their
work. We had an American handicap on board who has no use of his legs. Most
outfitters would not take on the risk of the situation. On the other hand ,the
outfitter took pride in their work and went over and beyond to make the
handicap member of the group had the same exact experience as everyone else. It
truly was a wonderful sight to see.

I am sure all of the sharks outfitters are similar but this one separates
itself with small details and a family atmosphere. Breakfast and lunch is
served. If you are going to swim with the great white then do it with the best.

“Excellent”

Shark diving - amazing experience, 10 out of 10for adrenalin rush. There were 6 of us on the trip so we got a good 90 minutes in the cage. The inly complaint was the Service could be better, the half hour of waiting could be used to talk about shark conservation and info on sharks

“wonderful experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 February 2012

a truly wonderful experience.
An honour to be able to see the great white sharks from such a close proximity.
The sharls are NEVER fed. If anything, they will get bored with the boat, knowing they won't get fed.
We saw 15 sharks and I would say that 11 of them swam past us without a second glance.
It was nice to see what I already supected...that Great White Sharks are gentle creatures just going about their own business.
The DVD is worth buying. And unless you are an amazing camerman/woman, I'd not bother with an underwater camera - everthing happens far too quickly to be able to concentrate on a camera too....just buy the DVD.

“Deliberately Misleading”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 February 2012

We were very excited about this trip after reading the great reviews on this site but unfortunately we were left disappointed. After we had paid up our money, signed disclaimer etc. and boarded the boat we were told that there was zero visibility in the water and there was no point getting into the cage. We felt totally conned as they could easily have told us this before we paid up or even the day before when we called and asked about the chances of seeing sharks. Instead they deliberately misled us and others on the trip. We did see some sharks from the side of the boat but that is not what you pay all that money for.
