“A casual and relaxing apartment with warm and friendly hosts near forest preserve and classic Catskill trout stream”
Reviewed October 22, 2017 for a stay in October 2017

The comfortable and quiet apartment with a full well-equipped kitchen, and a gas grill on a wide porch overlooking the woods made it fun and easy to make our own meals, even with several good restaurants nearby. An interesting collection of CDs made the stereo worthwhile and added to our relaxing vacation. We’ll get a closer look at the intriguing book collection next time.
The two best treats were the short lovely walk through the woods to a beautiful stretch of the upper Esopus Stream for trout fishing, and the warm welcome and getting to know Stephen, Andrew, and June.
We are looking forward to our return visit.

“Very comfortable home in the mountains, relaxing patio, some nice restaurants and hiking nearby”
Reviewed July 1, 2017 for a stay in June 2017

Stephen and Andrew are great hosts - caring, attentive and knowledgeable. Our stay was great. We felt very much at home and felt so relaxed amidst the greenery. Bird feeds at the patio drew different kinds of lovely birds all day long. There are a few good restaurants close by (driving distance). We also got a day of hiking close by. All in all, it was a very nice weekend. Perfect for the relaxing stay that were looking for in the mountains.

“Great spot!”
Reviewed May 30, 2017 for a stay in May 2017

An amazing and lovely place to stay! Both the interior and exterior of the space were thoughtfully maintained. The location is convenient for getaway with a great balance between culture (proximity to Woodstock and awesome dining) and nature (the many hikes in the Catskills). The host was accommodating and welcoming. The kitchen is fully stocked with pretty much anything you could want. A+!

“A peaceful treasure!”
Reviewed January 21, 2017 for a stay in January 2017

A cozy and peaceful home away from home. We loved the close proximity to the ski mountain and attention to detail, such as freshly laundered linens, a small library, board games, a stereo and flatscreen TV, a grill at our disposal, and anything one needs in a kitchen with muffins for breakfast.

“Cozy Catskills Vacation”
Reviewed August 7, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Love, love, loved my vacation stay here. Comfortable, clean, cozy, spacious apartment. Everything you could ever need was provided, plus many extra's. Stephen, June and Andrew are the nicest, most hospitable people ever ! The fabulous porch with the birds, chimes, comfortable furniture, grill and amazing view were truly the highlights of my stay. It was a great place for reading, relaxing and planning my motorcycle riding adventures thru the beautiful Catskill mountains. It was so nice to come back to after a great day of riding. You could just feel the history everywhere. It is located near antique shops, small towns, hiking trails, restaurants and the best scenery you can imagine. I would highly recommend it to everyone. I look forward to returning next summer for another great vacation stay !! Thank you so much !

We had quite a challenge during our Easter weekend. Five hours drive to get to the Catskills and 5 fire towers to hike in 4 days, we did'nt have a minute to relax before our long drive back home. Except the time we spent at Stephen's appartment! :-) Loved the location, il was perfect for our challenge. We could take good showers, prepare and cook our food, have some good nights sleep and have a great view. Also loved the surprises in the fridge! Stephen, the owner, was available and gave us plenty of usefull informations. We felt welcome in his place. I would highly recommend!
