This restaurant is living on its past reputation. It has been going down hill and now
The Briars is now at the bottom of the hill. Will not frequent it anymore.
The waitress was in a rush to take our order and rushed us through the meal. She
was leaving at 9pm along with the rest of the restaurant which emptied out.
Decor has not been refreshed in over 40 years and the food is at best unimpressive
and tasteless. (no flavor) Pappardelle stuck to itself, veal tasteless, steak was just ok,
salad thrown together, and presentation was non existent.
To say it's not what it used to be, would be an understatement.
Will not be back and advise others to do the same.
