We eat Italian food often, both homemade and at authentic restaurants (The Pines in the Bx still #1). We know Italian food. This was really good Italian food! We went early on a Saturday (5) and are lucky we did bc by 6 it was packed. Very very attentive waitstaff. The bread was great. The menu had something for everyone. Great specials too! Hubby had rigatoni braciola. Everyone agreed that was fantastic. Slow cooked gravy w the most tender pork. We had two other veal dishes. The veal capriscosa. It was huge. Done to perfection w a large salad on top. Parm was good. Not too cheesy. Yummy tartufo and tiramisu for dessert. Really a great dinner. Drinks a bit pricey, but good.
One request from manager: please lower the music. It's a restaurant not a nightclub. Conversations were difficult because of the loud music.
We would definitely go back!!
