“Morning treat”

The Golden Pear Cafe
Restaurant details

We just happened on this place by accident. It looked attractive from the outside & it was even more attractive after we entered. We were looking for a light morning snack & we were not disappointed. The coffee was excellent & the doughnuts were as good as we've ever had. All was served Bt a very friendly waitress whose name I forgot to establish. Ours was a good experience & if we find ourselves in the vicinity again we will definitely revisit.

They work very hard here turning out a wide variety of breakfasts and lunches to eat there or take out. The coffee is very good.
The over easy eggs are always "smashed" and cooked pretty hard...the pastries are fair, but like that they have added doughnuts! Some good chilli and salads. It is hard for them to handle big crowds, but somehow it all gets done.

the food is solid but very overpriced and service can be very slow. the bridgehampton cafe charged more for my iced tea than the cafe in sag harbor which was surprising

Came out here for breakfast with my family and we all had delicious meals. Some got the yogurt special, I got the oatmeal, some got wraps and sandwiches and everything was fantastic. The bread, the fruit, the coffee; all fantastic. A little pricey but given the area, it's on par. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

The food quality is good and fresh. But to spend over 50 bucks for breakfast for two was a shocker!

Lunch was okay. But for a cafe setting it's still pricey. Tasty food for sure but not worth the money.
Won't go back!
