Unfortunately we went to the park on a wet day, and unless you are prepared I’d think twice about going. It was a mud bath, I appreciate it’s a farm but the amount of water retained in the ground was awful, feet were sinking at times in the submerged grass areas and the path areas were swimming in mud. Needless to say, mud splatters all over clothes my son was head to toe in mud.
Website could have advised of this, and we would have been much more prepared.
The rides are good for young children but several were not open.
Nice play area and good inside soft play, consisting of mainly slides. Likes lots of things it could do with a bit of updating, and would be nice if it was slightly heated for us parents sat there shivering, same for the cafe area.
There didn’t seem to be many animals, and in all not many to actually see.
For us it felt like a waste of money.
Perhaps in the summer it’s a much better day out.

The weather was typically British but everyone still had a good time in wellies & waterproofs! There was loads to do from the rides (even my little 3 year old could go on them all) to the circus & the animals (including a dragon!). When it rained we retreated to the play barn which the kids loved especially as Elsa (& other princesses) & Star Wars characters were in there ready to chat & play with them. The staff & entertainers were all really friendly & happy despite the weather, can’t wait to return when the sun is shining!

Brought the kids & friends along to ‘Kidsfest’ and it really was a great day out! Lots of extras included, performing dragon, princesses were lovely, the Circus show was very professional and daring! Kids loved doing the workshops and learning skills for themselves. I tried the tightrope walking & failed! Rides were great, went on over & over. Playbarn busy & full of fun. It was a bit muddy, but expected of a farm in a very wet month. Recommended & will visit again.

We were warned on entrance (by people exiting the park) that it was extremely muddy and there wasn’t much to see or do. We ignored the advice and carried on regardless (since the photos look so appealing). It was £12.50pp, and children were charged at the same rate. It was quite scruffy inside...and lots of the rides and machines were ‘out of order’. The staff helping with the animals/farm were very friendly but the staff manning the rides seemed hung over, cold and fed up! Not impressed. There was enough going on for my 2yo to be entertained, including plenty of puddles to jump in, but definitely not worth the money. We should’ve gone to the local soft play centre instead. It has the potential to be great but imo it needs some TLC and some consideration for its visitors!

Went here expecting a fun day. First of all was overcharged on entry and had to get a refund. The whole place was covered in mud, even the grass area, which was more like a swamp!
They should have put on website extremely muddy at the mo please wear appropriate footwear. We only saw the basket of hire wellies as we exited the park but anyone’s feet have been in those and not enough for everyone.
3 rides were not open, some of the reptile tanks were steamed up you couldn’t see in them.
The only place that was good was the soft play which was cold to sit in, tea room was cold to sit in.
Not worth the money at all!
