My husband and I stayed a The Lodge to celebrate our 25th anniversary. It was a weekday and we had the whole place to ourselves. We were warmly greeted with a freshly baked batch of delicious chocolate chip cookies. Joe and Nancy are the owners and Joe was flexible, personable, accomodating, and an excellent cook! He helped us get situated and asked what time we would like breakfast to be served in the mnorning.
We sat on the deck for awhile and then went to Letchworth State Park which is a treasure! What a beautiful area with fantastic views! We got some take out and took it back to the Lodge to enjoy there. The whirlpool tub in the bathroom of the Tamarack Room was great. The bed was comfortable and everything felt very homey and comfortable.
In the morning our breakfast was ready right on time. Nancy bakes a delicious coffee cake and Joe's omelettes were perfect. I highly recommend this B&B. We were lucky to have the entire Lodge to ourselves. I think the owners go out of their way to make everything delightful.

My husband and I had the opportuntiy to enjoy an incredibly relaxing evening at the Lodge. The Lodge is nestled in very gentle rolling hills and surrounded by both the sounds and scents of nature; including very close proximity to Rushford Lake. The Lodge is only minutes away from many of the great festivals making it a great weekend get a way location.

Our room was comfortably appointed as was the rest of the lodge, focusing on country comfort.

The hosts, Joe & Nancy Fusco were delightful people and extremely knowledgeable about the area. Joe & Nancy's breakfast was a culinary delight; omlettes made to order, delicious crisy home fries, wonderfully moist ham, fresh fruit, and a bottomless cup of coffee. I should also mention the wonderful homemade cherry coffee cake -- very tasty.

If you are looking for a relaxing get away, I would encourage you to enjoy a peaceful stay at the Lodge. You may find that you need to extend your stay!!!

The lodge is a beautiful new B n B near Rushford lake and not far from letchworth state park. The rooms are warm and cozy. Joe and Nancy are perfect host and hostess. They make you feel like part of their family. Our breakfast was Joe's special omelet's made to order...perfect. Overlooking the Genesee River this Inn is a must for everyone.

We returned last week from a stay at The Lodge where we had a fantastic time. The Lodge is absolutely beautiful - both inside and out! Joe and Nancy are such gracious hosts. We felt very welcome and right at home the moment after arriving. How could you not with the smell of freshly baked cookies to greet you! If you like a lot of wood for that lodge feel, this is the place to be. Every room was spotless and tastefully decorated and everything looked brand new. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the adirondack chairs, relaxing in the shade with a view of the Genesee River.
At the suggestion of our hosts we also enjoyed taking short side trips to several different towns where we found great food and great people. Moss Lake is a must if you like wildlife - feeding fish (hundreds of them!) and seeing a huge snapping turtle. Cuba is a short drive and boasts an awesome cheese shop not to be missed.
We would be remiss if we didn't say that the best food was prepared right in front of us at The Lodge. Joe is a wonderful chef who "wow'd" us with juice, fresh fruit, made-to-order omelets, sausage, breakfast potatoes...not to mention fabulous coffee cake homemade by Nancy.
From our first impression to our last - the setting, the building, the room, the hosts -- the whole experience was just wonderful!

We just enjoyed an evening and a restful morning at The Lodge at beautiful Rushford Lake. What a delightful surprise! Friends had booked us and 2 other couples for vacation cottage overflow during our stay at the Lake. We were so wowed by the accomodations, the comfort and the service, not to mention the delicious breakfast prepared by owners Joe and Nancy.

We dined around a handmade wooden breakfast bar, overlooking a lovely kitchen area, that sat 8 of us comfortably, that reminded us of the experience at a large Japanese Steakhouse style seating area for all to view as Joe cooked our omelettes to order. Everything is spotlessly clean, looks brand new and yet is very modernized for a rustic lodge. Plenty of room everywhere and larger suites in the 2nd level too. Stop in the gift shop on your way out that has local made products. I would highly recommend it if you are traveling through the area, whether it be to Rushford Lake, local colleges or to see the beautiful fall foliage. Any time of year would be lovely, even in the winter snows!

We will be back, great getaway for groups of couples as well.
Thank you.
