Food was very good, Margo the bartender was entertaining and the atmosphere was lively. Stayed at the Holiday Inn and the restaurant is attached. Would definitely go again even if not staying at the hotel.

The food is great the staff is greater but the manager doesn’t give a hoot about customers or his staff. Friendly atmosphere and cozy. Just one thing I think there trying to kill the customers off by adding so much salt to the SOUPS some one fire the person who makes the soups please the soup is terrible salty salty salty complain when you go there and order the soups maybe They’ll fix the problem

Went to Max's looking for a cold pint. What I found was a fun busy local. The wings looked great because everybody was ordering around us we ate prior to
Going. 4 pints cost $16 us service was nice and friendly. Beer was cold and glasses were iced and clean.
Thanks to Max's bartender. Made our night fun.

We were staying in the Holiday Inn and, as this place was there we went for breakfast. It was a quiet Sunday morning and we had the usual bacon, eggs etc. It was freshly cooked and tasty. The service was OK but the food was slow coming and we had quite a wait.

Am in the Buffalo area for work. After my associate and I checked in to the hotel we needed to find a place to eat. It was getting late, after 7:30pm, so a place close would be great.

We decided on Max's which was less than a mile from the hotel. When we drove over the parking lot was pretty empty considering it was Father's Day. We thought that it might be closed. Fortunately for us it was not because we were hungry.

We walked in and the place was pretty empty. We asked the hostess why it was empty and she said it was nice day and people were outside enjoying the weather.

Our server brought over our menus which had a variety of steaks, ribs, chicken, burgers, sandwiches, quesadillas and salads just to mention a few.

I decided on the Caesar salad with grilled chicken. The salad came rather quickly and it was a good sized portion. The salad was good and the chicken was moist, but it was a salad and nothing extraordinary. It filled the bill for dinner because I was hungry.

Other entrees went by and they all looked good and were good sized too.

The service was fast and friendly and they do have a good sized parking lot. They also have a full bar.

Lots of variety so if you go with a larger group everyone should be able to find something to eat.
