Stopped in for the Friday night dinner service and it was great. Karen Booth's focus on Friday's is vegetarian and vegan food and it is terrific and fresh. I had the lentil soup, grilled artichokes and vegan spaghetti (spaghetti squash with vegetable red sauce). The restaurant holds 12 so call ahead. Everything is carefully made to order so it is a relaxing and attentive service. I couldn't resist the vegan carrot cake, which was surprisingly light and capped off a terrific meal. Karen started out as a baker and her desserts are always terrific. The menu changes weekly so call ahead or check facebook if you want to know what is on for the evening. No liquor license yet so bring your own wine. Not sure what the corkage fee is

It's a little hidden but worth looking for. If you want a sweet treat you won't be disappointed, but we recently discovered that they serve lunches and occasional dinners. The owner is a vegetarian, so the meals are mostly plant-based, which helps to balance out the guilt you might have from indulging in the sweet stuff!

Fresh soups, generous portions and greT tasting lunches!! You can't go wrong eating here. You just have to find the place behind the bank and fire station. Here homemade breads and sweets are FANTASTIC. Pick up a box and take them to a student at Hamilton college next time you visit this quaint village. Some nice shops too!

Stopped for lunch yesterday and enjoyed an excellent meal. Ordered a delicious curried squash soup, and a lentil salad with a light vinaigrette. Both were absolutely fresh, healthy and delicious. Never been disappointed and should probably stop more often.

Great place for treating the "sweet tooth syndrome". Desserts are fresh & unique. Karen, the owner, works hard to prepare top
quality products. Although the name of the business is informative, I would also recommend lunch. It is prepared with the same discriminating touch as the desserts. Only improvement I would encourage is to turn up the coffee temperature a touch. Otherwise, this place is the best !
