Service was great and the area around the campground is very lovely. You will feel very relaxed after a swim in the pool and a walk around the area is splendid. I don't think they should make it a 200 word minimum when your trying to rate a place though.

Room Tip: The place is just a wonderful getaway surrounded by beautiful little towns. We take our motorcycle...

Thank you so much for staying with us! We are so glad to hear you had a great time and do apologize for the word requirement on the reviews. This is something TripAdvisor itself requires and we don't have control over that. We hope to see you again soon!

First initial feelings upon arrival were wow what a nice place they escort you to your site help you park your rig the sites were huge I could put two rigs on my site there was a big nice tree shaded beautiful sites mini golf and swimming pool we're OK on some of the downsides the pool didn't open until 11 and they closed at 7 o'clock would've wished they had stayed open a little later especially on those hot August nights the store also closed early by 8 o'clock so any activities you want to do like rented bicycles or do mini golf or anything dip was not available because the store closed the site itself being nice and big boss but had did have broken glass cigarette butts they were a little bit dirty I mean it is a corporate campground not a family run campground and you do get that feeling well staffed bathrooms immaculate clean nice like new I gave the middle of the road reading mainly due to the fact that the sites cleanliness in the earliness of them closing all of their activities but all in all a nice place

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review Kurt, and for staying with us during your recent visit to the Copake area. We wanted to pass along that we are a family owned and operated campground, we are just a franchise of KOA. We do shorten our hours a little bit after the holiday weekend but will definitely pass along your feedback to our management team for review. We do hope you will consider returning to see us again and wish you all the best.

This was a trip to Indiana with two of our grandchildren. When we returned from Indy back to our Connecticut home we chose Copake KOA to spend a few days. We could not have chosen a better place. We were joined by the grandkids parents for some quality family time. The kids enjoyed the pool, the pedal carts & trikes and making smores over the campfire.

First time here. The campground and facilities were very clean and extremely well kept. There were lots of activities planned for all age groups. We brought our family pet and there was no issue. Fellow campers were very friendly. We will absolutely return.

We were just passing thru (one nighter) and were surprised they were having a band for the night's entertainment. The band was good and we enjoyed it. The road signs and the directions for getting there left something to be desired.

We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the band that played during your overnight stay with us. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience you might have encountered on your drive in. There is currently some road construction in the area, which should be completed in the near future and definitely before the next camping season roles around. We do hope to see you again the next time you are in the area. Take care!

This was our 2nd trip to KOA Copake. I made the trip towing our camper for the 1st time by myself. So upon arrival I explained my situation that I may need help in backing into our site. They were more than helpful with getting that done for me ( I ended up having a pull through site so all worked great). The gentleman that escorted me to my site which happens to be the owner even offered to help me set my camper up if I needed the help. We are more than pleased with the campground, clean facilities offering to help and answer any questions that you may have. Saturday evening there was a band at the pavilion and which were great, they start a nice bon fire outside near pavilion and was great seeing the owners out enjoying the band and conversing and enjoying the evening with their quests.
