The Blue Parrot used to be guaranteed. The owner who was there EVERY night made sure of that. He sold about five or so years ago to two or three celebrities, one of whom I saw there for a minute a while ago. It is still crowded, mostly young crowd, but you can generally get in. Though the last time we ate there was a year ago, I can't tell you what we had or if it was good. But it's a scene, if you like that, and perhaps you'll spot one of the celebrities.

This is a hidden gem down an alley in East Hampton village. The food is awesome and the hostess and wait staff help make the place. In the summer you might just run into a few local celebrities.

In between films this was a great spot. Perfect for lunch/early dinner! Fantastic guacamole and chips! We both had tacos and they were fantastic! Very fresh!

The food is okay, but the service is great. Not the worst, but not the best tex mex. The corn on the cob was really good and the nachos were pretty top notch.

Blue Parrot is one of my favorite hidden gems in East Hampton. It's tucked away in an alleyway behind all the restaurants on Main and Newtown. It's a perfectly casual spot not trying to be anything more than what it is and that's what makes it so great. They have a few picnic tables set up outside, some wooden benches for groups to grab a Corona or Marg as well as tables outside under an awning and more seats indoors with a lively, fun bar scene. The outdoor part gets nice sun in the late day and it's perfect for a casual sundowner. It's tight quarters inside so don't expect to get a bar seat unless you go at an off time. The vibe is all about having a good time. You may even find a few folks playing cornhole in the alleyway. Let's keep it 100 though... even though the restaurant lacks any bit of pretension, this is not Taco Bell folks... you are still in the Hamps and you will pay $17 for a margarita here unless you happen to hit it at happy hour.
