Just spent a very relaxing evening at East Hampton House. Very clean and with all the amenities you could ask for. The lady at the front desk, despite having to work on Christmas Day, was very courteous and helpful. I will definitely go back. The place is conveniently located across the street from Goldbergs and I got some excellent food on the go. Great place!

The room was clean and fresh. The spacious accommodation was well maintained and an effort was made to make the guest comfortable. Nice soaps, shampoos and the like complemented the adequate supply of good towels. Given that this past weekend was Thanksgiving, the facility continued to maintain a high level of service, including maid service.

Room Tip: Upstairs (second floor) is better, quieter.

This is a very beautiful quiet hotel. It is in a perfect location. The rooms were renovated. Very beautiful. Jackie runs the hotel. The most friendly manager. She tries to accommodate everyone. I had a crazy man underneath us. He complained over any noise. Even bathing my 8 year old at 7 at night. He complained. Jackie tried to make him happy she moved out room. It seemed like an inconvenience. She moved us to a beautiful newly renovated room to make us happy and him. The man lives at this hotel for the summer so I'm sure she gets his complaints a lot. We will be planning a trip back there this summer

Booked a two room suite for one night, my first trip to East Hampton. While it is not on the Main Street, it is a great central location. First impression was blah, like an old time two store motel with drive up outside entries. But was pleasantly surprised and would definite rebook.
On hwy 27 which leads to Montauk, it was very close to several great restaurants from Goldbergs bagels, a wine shop, Bostwick chowder house and Smoking wolf.
The room, really a small apt., opened out to a small private porch, a gorgeous green lawn. the room was completely adequate, comfortable bed, nicely furnished spacious sitting area with table and chairs, sofa, small fridge, microwave and coffee pot. quiet and very clean. Helpful staff. there are regular motel rooms available, but the suites are individually, owned like condos.

We arrived rather late after nine in the evening. There was no greeting or information given regarding our stay from the reception except to give us our room key. The motel doesn't serve breakfast or any meal, but there is a pantry for preparing some food and a dining area to eat. Having arrived so late, there was really no where to go to have some food, even though there are a few restaurants across the street but all shut at that hour. So we just ate a bag of chips gotten from the vending machine.

No breakfast either the next morning since restaurants across street don't open until 10:30 or 11. Unless have a car, it is quite a bit of walk to the little town centre or to the beach. The room itself is very spacious and comfortable and clean with a nice view of the lawn.

There is no reception service between 11pm to 8am. One can collect key or drop key from a key box outside the main door.
