“A simply gorgeous place to stay. Dolphins too!”
Reviewed September 21, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

This was our 5th trip to Fife and our hosts made us feel completely welcome during our stay.

The accommodation is second to none and the view from the living room defies description. Sunrise on a sunny day is spectacular to say the least.

Get the shipping tracker app to see what is going past the window - although it does not log the daily dolphin pod you have to look for them.

Would we come again? In a heartbeat.

“Great premises with special touches”
Reviewed July 16, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Lovely well equipped cottage overlooking sea. Lots of nice touches, f'lowers, chocolates etc. Loved the slipper bath! The view from the lounge was spectacular and we were blessed with all week sunshine. Sea Salt cottage is within a short drive to several pretty seaside villages - Crail, Pittenweem etc where there is much to see and lovely tea rooms. We dined several times at The Haven pub which is a step or two from the cottage. Would love to return to Sea Salt cottage.

“Amazingly relaxing!”
Reviewed January 23, 2017 for a stay in January 2017

Driftwood Cottage is right next door to Salt Herrings and is effectively replicated internally and with amazing views in both with Salt additionally having full uninterrupted views from bedrooms whereas Driftwood has in part, uninterrupted views from bedrooms . It is also owned by the same family whom communicated effectively and efficiently.

After reaching the top of the wooden staircase you are captured completely by the breath taking panoramic view that makes you smile and smile every time you see it.

This is further complimented by the modern open plan living, dining and kitchen area which has the second best focal point of a wooden burning stove.

What more could you ask for to make for a fabulous and comfortable stay.

Location is great for walking and beaches.

Yes it is an upside down cottage to take advantage of those amazing views with utility room downstairs with washer and freezer/microwave but for holiday let's -it works!

The master bedroom has an ensuite with bath and no shower but not far away at all is the main shower room which is great.

I would absolutely recommend Driftwood and will definitely return in the near future.
