This restaurant is owned and operated by a local farm family. The building is very pretty. The high ceilings and the way it is decorated gives it a light and airy feeling. You cansit in front of the fireplace in the leather chairs for a very comforting homey feel . Menus are available as you walk in the door and you place your order and pay for it at the counter. You are given a pager to pick up your meal later. On display are the desserts available. Definitely leave room for dessert because they are yummy. Surrounding the tables are locally crafted items silver bracelets unique sewn clothing soaps and candles pottery and various other items. The prices are comparable to any item that is artistically made. For lunch we all had the special of the day which was a quiche with shrimp, dried tomatoes , cheese and spinach. The crust was absolutely delicious. Served with the meal was fruit that was not not as tasty as it would have been in season, but it was good. We also ordered beverages, two pumpkin lattes and root beer and a bottle. Our total bill for the three of us was $38 including tax. The dessert display beckoned to me so I bought four cookies to take home.
