I ate here with six friends. I had the seared tuna, which was very good, and most of my friends had a chicken dish which they declared delicious. Although the restaurant was crowded, the decibel level was low enough for easy conversation. Service was good.

Dinner was 25 to 40 dollars but they did have sandwiches i.e. burgers for 15 dollars and salad for 9 dollars, add chicken for another 7 dollars. I had filet mignon and another had skirt steak and we both loved it! The only drawback was the they only had about 5 sides to choose from. They had 5 sauces for the steaks that we had 2 of and they were great. Very good.

We had our third big event here on Feb. 18, 2017. It was a landmark birthday celebration and Michael and his staff were incredible as always. Lovely space, great service, amazing food and drinks. All the attendees were impressed.

We are always apprehensive when a restaurant doubles as a wedding chapel/reception venue, as it is at Stone Manor 101. We need not have worried, they know their stuff... The restaurant staff handled the almost full room efficiently, with style.

We came to eat steak and we sure did! Very good filet mignon, even though our medium filet was more medium-well. The other one was perfectly cooked to medium-rare. The steaks were almost outshined by excellent side dishes: caramelized Brussels sprouts and onion-mushrooms. Superb! All accompanied by a very good bottle of Malbec from Argentina’s Patagonia region.

Dessert was a shared warm and tasty apple pie with two scoops of vanilla ice cream, courtesy of our waitress. And a cup of espresso... made it a great evening outing.

I left the appetizer course last, because it was the only disappointment. My wife's shrimp and crab bisque was fine, no complaints there. My special-of-the-day appetizer was not so special. Tuna tartar on crustini was a good idea, but the wasabi-avocado-mayonnaise was not. First of all it coated the fresh, raw tuna in a rather depressing looking and not very appetizing greenish sauce. But even overlooking the visual esthetics, the sauce was very bland and completely blanked out the delicate taste of the sashimi grade tune. I tried to correct the bland taste by asking for some extra wasabi, but all our waitress could find in the kitchen was an extra serving of the prepared mayonnaise. Perhaps this dish should be rethought with more respect shown to the tuna.

All in all, we had a good time and a good meal.

Went with two people, with two groupons. They would only honor one. Salad was delicious, steak good but medium-rare was more like well. Waiter offered to redo it but it was ok. Drinks were good, place was busy, mostly older crowd on a Sat at 8:30. Event was going on in adjacent space and people would wander through.

Would go again.
