We don't get out often, but happened to be in huntington and stopped in. We should learn from experience not to get anything but a beer in a bar because ur not getting any alcohol. We do like sangria and asked if they had any,the bartender went on to tell us this story how he has been making them for 30 years with a special recipe. And first round is full price and second would be half.He pours the drinks of course tons of ice and then it is poured from a old plastic jug-really tacky. needless to say no alcolol taste .we bought 2 glasses of fruit punch for 20 dollars on our rare night we get to go out.
we r in our 50;s and will not go back except for a beer maybe.
Bars should stop this deceitful practice.

Had a great meal there despite the mix up of meat! I had asked for a chicken tostada but ended up with a beef one. It was still delicious!

I love this place for their fresh food and great margaritas. Very affordable and the house margarita is sooo good.

Love their chips and salsa as well the fajitas and enchiladas.

We used to go here all the time when it was the only Mexican place in town (many years ago!). Last week we wanted to sit outdoors and happened by - they have remodeled and have some outdoor seating now. We stayed for lunch and it was excellent.

Have heard great things about this restaurant but what a disappointment. I have lived in the Southwestern United States for 17 years and am very familiar with Mexican food.

First was the black bean soup which was nothing more than beans soaked overnight and heated up. No garlic, onion or even a little cumin or other spice. Also the beans were still way too firm. Looking at the chicken soup that one person in our party had, it was loaded up with potato. A little unusual for chicken soup.

Fajita's also disappointed as again no seasoning but salt of which there was way too much. Plenty of oil/butter which gave the vegetables a strange texture.

Finally was the beverage. $8.50 for a Modello or Blue Moon. I get better prices in Midtown Manhattan. This was beer folks not some exotic cocktail. Prices on their meals were within the parameters for a Huntington restaurant.

Maybe I hit the restaurant on a poor day when the regular cook was off but whatever the case it did not live up to all the hype.
