We have stayed at this location many times over the past year and have been completely satisfied each time and have had nothing but great things to say. Front desk staff has always been friendly and very accommodating and have had no issues with cleanliness or noise. However this time two things bothered me a bit.
1. No hot breakfast in the Winter? We got up early to make it in time for breakfast and when we went to eat, there was nothing hot there. Normally there has been eggs and sausage, etc. every other time we have stayed here. Then there were no cups, plates, utensils, etc. So I inquired and was offered a cup. Then noticed that it was possible to make pancakes but there were no plates or utensils, so again I had to go back and ask for them from the front desk. This was a little strange and made me feel quite uncomfortable like I was bothering them and wasn't supposed to be asking even though the online description states "hot breakfast" and when inquired breakfast was to be served until 10am and it was only 9am when nothing was out.
2.) They had gotten a few inches of snow sometime within the past two days or so of our arrival. The parking lot looked like it wasn't even treated. Not plowed or any kind of snow removal, yet the entire strip mall complex was plowed and clean. I felt this was very dangerous because anyone could have slipped and gotten really hurt on an untreated surface. It was very icy and messy.
If you aren't going to serve a hot breakfast in the Winter than please advertise as that...
If you just need a clean place to stay for a quick overnight trip, this place is fine but don't count on breakfast in the Winter. You'll have to go out for breakfast.
