The towels in the bathroom had stains, dust could be seen on the ceiling along with a dead mosquito. Also there were stains on the carpet . The toilet also looked as if it could not flush well. The only plus was how close it was to my home and also it being pet friendly

I have spent the last 15 Valentine’s Day weekend at the Hilton Restaurant. It’s our tradition. This year
Was no exception. I understand that COVID has changed a lot. But, I was so excited to hear that indoor dinner was open. Unfortunately, not at the hotel bar. But Brian and Adrian were wonderful to us on Friday. On Saturday night, we were made to feel uncomfortable to be hanging in the area of the bar, so much so there left the hotel and spent $200 at a restaurant, that we would have much rather spend at the Hilton. We didn’t even try Valentine’s Day. So sad. But we’ll keep coming for Brian and Arian.

Hilton New York JFK airport hotel

My experience at the Hilton New York JFK airport hotel was...average. There weren’t any major problems per se, but there were still some unpleasant experiences.
The primary problem for me was the smell. People were clearly smoking both cigarettes and marijuana in the hallways and rooms and disregarding the signs placed all over by the hotel. We asked to switch rooms after the smell in the first room we were given was too much to bear.
The room quality was about what you would expect. The bathroom was nice and I did not see any mold or mildew. However, the air conditioner was super loud. Like, keep you awake loud. It wouldn’t have been so bad if it was continuous, but it kept switching on and off again at regular intervals.
After crashing in our room for a little while we went to the hotel restaurant for dinner. The experience was nice, it wasn’t too noisy, and we got good service. Our food arrived quickly and it tasted amazing. All around a good experience.

All in all, I gave the hotel three stars because it was only an “okay” experience. If you need a good hotel to get to the JFK airport, then this hotel is a good option, as you can easily catch the hotel shuttle that regularly goes to JFK airport every 30 minutes.

I only spent one night here whilst in transit but the warm and friendly staff was very nice on the very cold day.
The room cleanliness and sanitisation due to COVID-19 was very obvious and I felt safe here and was not worried about being infected.

A nice hotel, very close to the airport. Overall, this property is in line with HGI standards.
Room was good but lots of noise from outside from highway.
No shuttle to the airport at this time.
No breakfast available before 6:30 am. I am a diamond member, had to take points instead.
Parking $25/day
