There aren't too many options for this area, but this place has very uncomfortable beds. It's dated looking and dirty. The main road location is not charming at all. There's no bar, nor anywhere decent to walk. Better off elsewhere. Try a local bed and breakfast, or a larger hotel in Riverhead.

My husband & I stayed at the Duncan Inn this past February to celebrate Valentine's Day & my birthday. I discovered the motel through a promotional deal that offered a 20% restaurant credit to the Jedediah Hawkins Inn, which is in walking distance. We had planned to walk to one of the nearby wineries as well, but the weather was lousy and we didn't want too much of a challenge.

Our room was small, but had everything we needed and was nice & clean. We're hoping stay again sometime next year.

A lovely place and very charming. Breakfast was FRESH bagels and many other items. The room ere super comfortable and clean and the staff more than accommodating. The grounds were so welcoming. Just like in the old days and the price was spectacular for the area. Will come again in the future

My husband and I wanted to visit a few wineries on the North Fork and were looking for an inexpensive place to spend the night. What a charming little place! The room was small (which we didn't mind at all for a one night stay), clean and had everything we needed. The innkeepers were friendly and check-in was a snap. We also enjoyed the continental breakfast...the bagels were fabulous!
