GPS directed us to a small street with storage rental units. I was a little concerned about the approach to the hotel but once there it was just fine for the money. Indoor pool and fitness center are small but workable. The morning breakfast was a good surprise. A larger than average number of options for this price point.

The staff was extremely personable and helpful. It was our first real vacation and the stay was enjoyable. My daughters and I found everything clean and easily accessible in the room. Having a Wegman's next door was an added bonus.

Hotel is old and dated. Non smoking rooms stunk to high heaven of cigarette smoke. AC unit did not regulate temperature accurately; not to mention every time it came on it smelled of stale cigarettes. I would not reccomend this Hotel until it is updated. Not up to Hilton family quality standards.

I did not actually stay here. We foolishly traveled late on a holiday weekend, only to discover that everywhere in Scranton was completely booked, and then (apparently) everywhere in Binghamton too. But I would like to record for posterity that whoever was on the front desk at 1:00 a.m. on July 2, 2017, personally called a number of area hotels on my behalf and found me a room, one of the last two, at the Holiday Inn Express in Vestal.

I really appreciated this.

Clean hotel with easy access to restaurants and shopping. Rooms are in need of updating and the pool was filled with peeling paint chips from the edges of the pool. For the price , I would have expected a more updated hotel.
