Had a limited amount of time in Lake George but definitely wanted a ride on the lake so we chose the one hour ride on The Minne-Ha-Ha which was a totally delightful. The boat leaves the dock and travels along the eastern shore line for distance then crosses over to the western shore and back to the dock. There is a very good narration of what you are seeing and we were impressed by the sound system which was crisp and everyone could enjoy what was being said. The narrator did a great job of gving just enough information for this short cruise. Meanwhile the big paddlewheel at the back churned and the steam curled from the stack and everyone was invited to go look at the boats "innard" the working steam engine that propels the large wheel at the stern of the boat.
As we were leaving they asked everyone to stay for a few moments dockside as the steam calliope played -- that was truly a smile inducing moment watching those pipes belch steam and tune from the turn of the 20th century.
This is a nice ride for all ages -- not too long to bore the kids and just long enough to make you wish it could go on for a bit longer.

The Lake George Steamboat is a nice ride for those who want to relax and take in some great Adirondack sights. If your feeling like an evening out with the one you love being with then the Lac Du Saint Sacrement Dinner boat would be the one boat to go on.This boat has a delicious Dinner buffet. It also offers Dancing. Both dinner, live music, and dancing makes for a great night out.

Does not matter how old you are this is something you must do. I have not missed a chance to take a ride each time I am in Lake George! You must sit outside on deck. Wonderful way to spend 45minutes - hour of your time.

Used them as part of a military reunion to host our group. We had about the best possible day weather-wise you could have, so our group really enjoyed this experience. The scenery is unrivaled. What a gorgeous area! The boat accommodations were excellent and our group had a private dining area. The food was wonderful. I had no complaints and heard none from anyone in our group. I highly recommend this company for group outings, and if you're just touring the area don't miss out on taking a lake cruise. Get the lunch. It can be your "big meal" of the day.

Went on the mini-ha-ha and had a good time. Beautiful way to see some more of the lake, had a tour guide pointing out interesting things as well. Only down fall was that it was very hot and for half of it until the boat turned we were in the beating sun. Still would highly recommend this.
