I stayed at the Lodge for 3 nights in March 2011 as part of a business meeting. The staff is friendly and solicitous. The restaurant turns out very good meals. The rooms, however, are very dark at night - the bedroom is lit by two very small recessed ceiling lights over the bed, and two small lamps with very low wattage bulbs. There is no TV in the rooms, which was totally ok with me, but I like to read in the evening and it was impossible to do with the existing light. My room had a deck and a sliding door which opened onto the deck, but no windows which opened - so there was no way to get fresh air into the unit at night, while you sleep.
Overall, a beautiful location, very nice staff, nice decor, but the architect did not think through lighting needs.More
