Still our favorite stay in Sedona!

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Jul 26, 2009
Just a note of thanks to Carlos and the team at Las Posadas for ensuring that we had yet another wonderful weekend stay with them.
As residents of Phoenix, we often go to Sedona for quick, weekend get-aways. We always choose Las Posadas when rooms are available. This weekend we encountered random trouble with noisy neighbors - our first ever complaint. Needless to say, our middle-of-the-night complaints were handled so promptly and so completely by Carlos (the property manager) that not only will we continue to return, we will recommend the place even more!
It is an absolute delight to know that the Las Posadas team values their guests like family . . . bravo! IT IS THE ONLY PLACE TO STAY IN SEDONA.

We were very pleased with the service, privacy, location, and cleanliness. The room was the size of a small apartment with a small private balcony, an upgrade and much more luxurious than we expected. The little touches, like an appetizer and fresh baked cookies in the room, sets Las Posadas apart from a hotel. Breakfast was fantastic and the service is excellent-- Chef Andre himself served us. The location is great, away from the crowds, yet great restaurants and shops are just a short drive away. Not really a place for kids, no pool, but you can have a hot tub.

All I can say is wow! For the price you won't find a better place to stay. The rooms are above and beyond what you would expect in this price category. You defiantly feel like your at home when you stay here except everything is done for you. Don't forget about the 3 course breakfast it was incredible, not what I was expecting at all. Where else are you going to find a personal chef to make breakfast for you.

We just returned from a week's stay at Las Posadas. The location is just before the town of Sedona, which is perfect. You don't need to hassle with the busy traffic because of the road contstruction in town. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The rooms are spacious & gorgeous. We especially liked the convenience of the kitchenette with the coffee maker, microwave and mini-fridge, allowing us the option of dining in if we chose. The breakfasts were subperb as were the snacks and cookies -a special treat every afternoon - something new & different!
It was a peaceful & relaxing vacation. The staff was helpful when we decided to book a tour to the Grand Canyon. They also sent a breakfast tray for us so that we didn't miss breakfast the morning of the tour which picked us up at 7AM (before breakfast time).
We highly recommend this gem. We are telling all our friends in NY about it! We plan to return as soon as we can!

Have never stayed at a B & B before. This was truely a great place to stay. While it was farther out of Sedona than I'd anticipated (about a 15 min. drive), it was nice to be in an area where there wasn't a lot of the tourist noise and traffic. Night time star-gazing was fun, as there wasn't all the light "noise" coming from the surrounding area. Jeff was extremely helpful and knowledgable about the area and "must see/do" activities. The unit itself was very comfortably furnished, in like-new condition. The afternoon snack left in the fridge for us was a nice treat after a long day of activity. The morning breakfast was very unique, filling and fresh, a nice change from your standard restaurant's eggs/pancakes.

Would like to have had a pool to swim in after our long days, although, if we'd have been willing to spend an extra $10 per person/per day, we could have gone across the street to use the compettion's pool and amenities. Would also benefit from having laundry facilities. Closest laundromat was almost 25 minutes away!

All-in-all, a wonderful vacation spent here! Would go back in a heart beat!

After Sedona Rouge Hotel of Sedona screwed up my birthday stay and plans, I looked for another hotel that would take me in. I called Las Posadas and the front desk Concierge (Jeff) listened to me vent about my horrible experience with Sedona Rouge. Jeff was so nice, patient and understanding. Luckily they had a room available and since it was my b-day, he upgraded my room to a suite for the price of a premium room!
Jeff was also able to quickly reschedule my Grand Canyon Tour that I had to cancel due to Sedona Rouge's screw up. Once I arrived at Las Posadas, to my surprise the General Manager, (Carlos) gave me a bouquet of pink carnations! How many people would do that??!! The room and view were lovely and the breakfast was great. The Las Posadas staff took care of my husband and I well and I was able to enjoy what was left of my birthday. I would recommend this resort to everyone, I will surely return and tell all my friends to stay there too! Thank you Jeff, Carlos and Las Posadas staff!!
