Perfect little getaway!

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Aug 12, 2009
My boyfriend and I just wanted a quick night away to relax and unwind. This place had an easy to find location just before you hit Sedona, with many shops and restaurants nearby. The suites themselves were extremely clean and well kept, and the decor of the suites is done so well. The amenities of the hot tubs, whirlpools bathtubs, and the double sided fire places add to the ambiance and fun of the room. The breakfast was plenty filling. The staff was attentive to the pre-arrival requests we asked for, and maintained a caring, accommodating friendliness that whole way through. It is a quaint, little complex of about 20 villas, all with their each own unique color schemes and feel. Upon our arrival at night, we were already impressed with the exterior of the bed and breakfast itself - the vegetation, the glowing lights, the intimate walkways and tucked in feel of the villas - it all added privacy and the welcoming intamacy that sets it apart from a resort or hotel. I would go back there in a heart beat! - Scottsdale, AZ travelers

We got there late, around 9pm, our key was taped to the door of the office. However, the front desk gal was still there, came out and escorted us to our room. Our room was BEAUTIFUL! ! Comfortable, and had a little midnight snack waiting, as well as cookies! The bed is huge and comfy! We woke up early the next day, and the view from our room was amazing. The entire property is beautiful and quaint. The breakfast, 3 course, and just wonderful. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable. Great stay! So glad we chose this property! I'd definitely stay again!

We spent 3 wonderful nights at Las Posadas! EVERYTHING was wonderful! The suite was very spacious and extremely comfortable. (We are a family of 3 adults.) The staff is some of the friendliest and most accommodating of ANY we have encountered on other vacations. Breakfast is over-the-top delicious!

The only (slight) drawback is that it is a little (15 min) distance to the center of town. This would not, in ANY way, keep me from choosing Las Posadas again. There is nothing I would change!

Las Posadas is a true gem!

The room was huge so we didn't feel like we were on top of each other. Very clean, and fresh.
The three course breakfast was awesome!

My husband and I along with our son and his girlfriend (ages 21 & 19) flew from Toronto to L.A., drove the Pacific Coast and then drove to Sedona for the amazing scenary and tranquility of the red rocks. I have been before, but this trip was amazing.

All along the coat of California, we stayed in upscale hotels, offering the typical continental breakfast. You get in the line up and pile your plates. You hear the kids running down the halls at all hours of the night, you hear the doors slam when people come and go and there always seems to be a train track close by.

At Las Posadas of Sedona you will get none of that. You enter your private villa type residence where you have an amazing view of the red rocks. We had a suite with a fireplace separating the bedroom from the living room. A jacuzzi outside for the 4 of us was perfect. No noise, no trains, no slamming of doors and right at the junction to the town of Sedona.

The best part was breakfast the next morning. You enter the most beautiful part of this villa and a chef cooks a 3 course breakfast for you. We started out with coffee, fresh fruit, granola and yogurt. Then he came with a home made peach tart (warm) with pumpkin seeds and the 3rd course was a spinach/cheese/egg fritatta which was about 3 inches high by 4 inches wide, along with sausage and fried tomates. This meal was amazing. The entire time you are eating you are listening to the most beautiful, peaceful music.

You don't have a fitness centre on the premises or a pool, although you can use a facility across the street. You don't have room service options, but there are many wonderful inexpensive places to eat 5 minutes away. You don't have maid service knocking on your door at 8:00 a.m. to clean your room. Everything is peaceful and at a slow pace. Free parking and free internet is also available.

If you want to be with the 100 people fighting for the last runny scrambled eggs at the Best Western and the kids loading up their pockets with apples, be my guest. But if you want to be looked after, have a peaceful sleep and amazing food and service, book this hotel. The rates were comparable to other 4 - 5 star Sedona hotels. We haven't stopped talking about this one night stay.

We will definately be back and will refer all our friends and family to this lovely resort. Thank you for everything.

Just a note of thanks to Carlos and the team at Las Posadas for ensuring that we had yet another wonderful weekend stay with them.
As residents of Phoenix, we often go to Sedona for quick, weekend get-aways. We always choose Las Posadas when rooms are available. This weekend we encountered random trouble with noisy neighbors - our first ever complaint. Needless to say, our middle-of-the-night complaints were handled so promptly and so completely by Carlos (the property manager) that not only will we continue to return, we will recommend the place even more!
It is an absolute delight to know that the Las Posadas team values their guests like family . . . bravo! IT IS THE ONLY PLACE TO STAY IN SEDONA.
