A group of four stayed here three nights, two in each of two rooms. There are several buildings of four rooms apiece, staggered in a hilly area amidst pines and birches. It is VERY quiet here. No noisy partiers the weekend we were here. We skied Gore during the day, and wanted to eat and drink well in the evenings. Our experience at the Inn was all of that. The owner, Rich, is friendly and accommodating. Our rooms were spacious, well-heated, and had plenty of hot water. They were made up each day. The queen beds were comfortable. The room décor is lodge-like, not fancy, but comfortable. Cost is under $100/night for double occupancy with two queen beds. It is entirely satisfying for your ski trip or hiking/cycling trip in the spring, summer, or fall. The restaurant is exceptional and moderately priced; no entrée was priced over $19. Our group was very satisfied with Inn on Gore Mountain.

Room Tip: We were on the second floor of the building. Very quiet.

This place is old. Like walking back into the 70's. It is in need of some serious attention. If you want something that is what a base level hotel offers...keep looking. This place is clean BUT there are holes in the ceiling and a lot of basic things that aren't well cared for. Our bed fell out of the frame during the night. They don't include breakfast. We have a tv (20" crt model) with some cable with it but it is rough. If you want a place that can sleep a lot in one room...consider it. This place is great if all you are looking for is to sleep and ski. Our room has two full size beds and a set of bunks so you could sleep about 6. If you want to sleep and be pampered - Don't stay here. If you want a clean room with a roof over your head that will keep you dry and warm...This is your place. Don't just look around too closely!

My son & I stayed here in January (mid week) and arrived on a cold night (3F). The place was warm, had hot water and was very quiet and remote. We got a good night's sleep and headed into North Creek for breakfast the next day and eventually skied Gore Mountain. An inexpensive way to visit Gore and enjoy the surrounding small but quaint town of North Creek. It's not a high end place but if you're their to ski it's perfect!

May not be fancy, but you get what you NEED. A cabin-like room, comfy beds, hot water...oh and did I mention the rooms are spacious? After a day of skiing, those are the only things you need.

Rich, the owner was very accomodating and hospitable. He makes you feel like family. He even called me on our way up being that it was late making sure that we were okay. We weren't able to taste his wife's cooking since we were there during the weekdays and the restaurant only opens on the weekends.

But nonetheless, it was a great stay and surely will be our go-to place whenever we go to Gore.

See you next season, Rich!
