I just want to confirm many of the review on this hotel: rooms are sufficiently clean, very tight staircase (there’s no lift), some bathroom’s furniture were broken. The location in the town is ideal: near the town and sea and easy to reach by car, but there are very few free places for car parking near the Hotel. In the evening it becomes a very quiet place, all you can ear are the seagull. I suggest not to have breakfast in the hotel because it is very expensive and you can buy better things in the near little market or boulangerie for half a price or less. After all it’s an expensive place, but I think the problem is Etretat, not this Hotel: it’s a pretty little town but overrated. I suggest you to take a visit but not to stay there for more than one night.

Price/quality = good, position = great.
For a few days in the middle of Etretat it is a must.
And the kitchen is fantastic, ambiance not great but the kitchen is very good, especially the "tartiflette".

The owners are nice, they gave us a big room. Apart from the awful pirate paintings, the room was nice. Prepare to climb stairs, there is no elevator.

Best thing is the good price, to hear the birds every morning when waking up, and the bed was surprisingly comfy (didn't look like it at first). Etretat is small so everything is within walking distance. Breakfast is nice.

Not a luxurious hotel but cosy and friendly staff. The room was a bit chilly, don't recommend it for cold months but probably fine for spring and summer. You don't see (or hear) the sea but it's very central and a short walk to the beach (Etretat is very small anyway). Simple breakfast with very good bread and croissants from the bakery next door.
Good price when compared with other options.
A little advice, try to leave your car around the hotel. During the day it's almost impossible to find a place but at night most of the tourists leave. We had a very bad experience by leaving the car for the night on the main road, slightly out of town.
