Oia is everything that people say it is, and Ifestio is the perfect place to stay while visiting. If you're thinking of stayin in Fira -- don't. Oia is everything that Santorini is supposed to be and everything that Fira is not. It has enough tourists that they are accostomed to you, but its not (yet) TOO crowded. Oia can get crowded during midafternoon when all of the tour groups roll though and during the sunset (particularly up at Amoudi... Personally, the sunset is overrated, though I'm from LA where beautiful beach sunsets are a daily occurance).

Ifestio is the perfect place to stay in Oia, with a breathtaking view of the caldera. It is one of those traditional "cave house-villas" - be prepared to walk up/down lots of stairs to get to it. The apartment is all classic Greek blue and white, and even the floors are marble. The rooms are spacious, and Katerina stocks the fridge and cupboard for breakfast. Having breakfast on the balcony overlooking the caldera is an absolute joy. The bathroom is clean and the shower is reasonable (though not luxurious). Katerina was very friendly, and had plenty of little gifts for our honeymoon. In the end, it was the ideal honeymoon stay.

Ifestio provided lovely accommodations while in Santorini. The view from our villa was fantastic, and Oia is, in my opinion, is the nicest location on the island.

Our hostess provided a lot of information (a bit too much at times), and if you want someone to plan your vacation, she is very knowledgeable and kind.

We just found Santorini, and Ifestio a bit much. Lots of people, lots of advice... We had just spent almost two weeks on the quieter island of Naxos, which was more to our taste, lots to do, but not as touristy.

A few observations - for what it is worth - the wineries are a lot of fun, Ambrosia restaurant was our favorite meal of our entire Greece vacation (and only steps from Ifestio's door), Replica has cool art at all price points (and the owner is kind), the volcano tour, while interesting, was very crowded and the afternoon was tedious.

All this being said, Greece stole our hearts, and we enjoyed every minute we were there....

When I stepped into the apartment, I was totally shocked by the view outside of the room, thought I had already seen pictures many times from Tripadvisor. The apartment is big, clean, cormfort and well equipped, and it is absolutly good apartment for honeymoon. I loved to sit on the balcony at night to have a drink and to see the Aegean Sea with full moon.

As Ifestio can not sell breakfast, food and drink prepared by Katerina is fancy. The recommenadations by Katerina are very helpful.

Just one suggestion, a electronic fan may be better than air-condition.

We were in Santorini for a family wedding on the other side of the island and decided to come to Oia for 1 night as a b'day treat for my boyfriend. I chose Ifesto villas because of the reviews and i was not disappointed! When I emailed to book, very last minute, the villas were fully booked but the owner Katerina offered us a room in the villa she lives in. A cosy cave room with a bathroom downstairs. I mentioned to the wonderful Katerina that we were in Oia for my boyfriend’s birthday. Immediately she set about organizing an unforgettable night out for us. She booked us dinner at the beautiful Sunset Taverna and even organised a delicious cake (with candles) to be brought out by the waiters. The next morning we ate breakfast overlooking the spectacular caldera. Bliss  If you are in Oia do not stay anywhere else! And THANK YOU Katerina :)

When you imagine classic Greek isles, you imagine white buildings and blue domes sitting atop plunging cliffs. Ifestio Villas is all that and more.

The caldera view from our balcony was picturesque and the villa was ideal. It truly is cliff dwelling. Katerina, the owner, was extremely welcoming and made our stay very relaxing. She furnished our villa with a thoughtful arrangements of food for a simple breakfast or snack. It's those little thoughts that make this place so unique. We stayed for three nights in the largest villa and wished we had invited friends. The villa can comfortably sleep eight and would be a great retreat for a close group of friends.

Overall, I can easily see myself returning to Ifestio Villas. If only it was closer to NYC.

Amazing view, great location, clean and charming rooms, fresh made jam and cakes, plus a personal trip planner (if you want it!). We, my sister and I, stayed in Villa Parida for 3 wonderful nights, which has a small kitchen, nice and well-equipped bathroom, a bed room and two other sleeping areas in the common room. The best part is the balcony! It doesn't get much better than sitting outside with coffee or wine and soaking in the beauty of the caldera from your own balcony. There was also A/C although we didn't use it, as well as a small TV and wireless internet.

As every review mentions, Katerina goes out of her way to make your stay the best. Not only did she offer suggestions of what to see, what to do, where to eat, but she also bargained for a discount for our car rental and even offered her own clothes for cooler nights!

You will have a wonderful stay at Ifestio, I highly recommend it!
