Do not stay here if you want sunset views or to be near the city centre. We wanted traditional accommodation, view of the caldera, quiet location for one nght only (as it's not the cheapest place to stay but you have to do it don't you?!) and were not disappointed.

I found the hotel more than comfortable. The views from everywhere were stunning. The owner was friendly and helpful whenever needed. No wifi but they have computers in reception. No pool bar but rooms had fridges and there's a wine shop and deli a short walk away.

We spent the whole time by the pool. There's a really good restaurant right across the road, not sure if the hotel has one. The breakfast was great; yogurt and honey and fruit, toast, ham and cheese, cornflakes, coffee and juices and eggs.

we just got back from an amazing 5 days in oia... and the highlight was definitely this fantastic hotel. The hotel is slightly out of oia central, but only about 15 minute walk into the centre.

We stayed in a 'self contained' little room on top of the entire hotel with an enormous balcony all to ourselves and one of the most amazing views ever.

the staff was incredibly helpful, the breakfast was great, i loved the model santorini, the pool in the shape of the caldera and the onsite chapel. was a really fun and beautiful place.

if you stay here, visit Taverna MOU which is over the road for a great greek music and food experience. we were told that Brad and Angelina just bought the plot of land next door... not sure how accurate that is... but stay at this hotel before you see it in OK! magazine!

This hotel just blew me away, it is absolutely gorgeous with breathtaking views of the sea. We stayed here for 3 nights & had an amazing time swimming, sunning, walking around the enchanting white-washed town of Oia. We found a great rate, $45-$50/each per night between the four of us. For this price, the location couldn't be more prime! Our room(s) overlooked the pool & the sapphire seas, lending itself to great views of the volcano island as well. We had two bedrooms (on a loft bed above the living room, the other a private bedroom with the balcony). The living room/kitchen area was spacious & had everything we needed. The place was very clean, simple & lodge-style. True to Greek architecture but with a modern twist, Atlantida is completely blue & white. They even have a miniature stone map of Oia w/ figurines, a small church w/ bell tower & a pool in the shape of Santorini on premises. Gorgeous.

It is not in the heart of Oia, about a 10-15 walk to the shops, restaurants, and to where everyone gathers to watch the sunset. Honestly though, being ever so slightly of Oia turned out to be an unexpected joy: this way we had to walk back & forth several times a day, which further enabled us to enjoy the out-of-this-world scenery. Even walking back to Atlantida at night was fine, as it's a really safe area (we even had 2 dogs follow & guard us all the way back home). While in Oia, definitely go to Thira & try out the donkey ride if you're up for it (as touristy as it may be). Fira is definitely a party spot, a little too overcrowded for my taste, whereas Oia is much more beautiful, picturesque & serene. One of the most beautiful places in the world, hands down. I reveled in every delicious moment.

The only thing I have to say about the service (though the were very helpful once we arrived), is that they were not very accommodating when we had to cancel our first night stay due to a ferry cancellation. When in Greece, you have to roll with it: ferries run late or skip over places because they're late. That's precisely what happened to us when we came from Milos, but when I called to explain, Atlantida still charged us in full for our first night--something to keep in mind when island hopping in the Greek Isles. Other than that, honestly no complaints. In this paradise of Oia, honestly one should be able to enjoy it anywhere they stay!

I would love to return to Oia, especially to Atlantida Villas, hopefully with my love next time!! Go there, you won't be disappointed! Absolutely divine.

We stayed at five hotels whilst Greek Island hopping and this was the most digustingly dirty and noisy hotel I have stayed at on any holiday. There is also no sunset view from the accomodation it requires quite a walk and this was unfortunately the worst part of our trip. Whilst I wrote a letter of complaint to Travel Republic to address our disappointment but they refuse responsibility and inform us that the owners have refused any compensation and so I would strongly recommend you stay elsewhere. Santorini is however absolutely beautiful and I would strongly recommend it.

Is a wonderful hotel of Oia over the cliff at the beginning of Oia, every room has its own private balcony overlooking the volcano, the hotel staff helped us in in all request us, the staff was very polite and friendly. The rooms were very clean and of course have the most amazing view compared to the others hotels of the region & with very reasonable price as well, I propose this complex for those who wish to spend a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

The manager at the hotel was very nice. He took us to our rooms upon arrival and gat us a 10 min rundown about the location and the island of santorini.

One thing to make sure of is to book directly with the hotel rather than going through an online travel agency. We made that mistake and booked through www.santorini-hotels.net and we were very dissapointed. A travel company by the name of travel zone based out of Athens was who the booking was made through. They screwed up our reservation so when we went to the hotel they did not have the room we requested available and the manager states he had told that to the travel zone people on 3 occasions and asked them if they had okayed it with us. They told him that they had but we never heard that. Otherwise we would not have paid extra for a 5 person apartment - the room they initially gave was a single bedroom for 5 adults - OMG! Anyhow, after making a fuss, the manager at the hotel gave us another room so we had 2 rooms among the 5 of us. We later had to fight it out with a lady at travel zone. It was not a good phone conversation.

All in all - book directly with the hotel - the prices are similar so it makes no sense to go through someone else. If I had known this, I would not have gone through that website.

Again the views were amazing, there was daily maid service, nice breakfast. Don't expect luxury, though. It is a family owned place with very basic furniture, bedding, etc..The weather was sort of chilly so we did not get into the pool. The main downtown area of oia is a short 10 min walk.

You already know the views are stunning, and that's largely why you pay more near Oia. It seems the place has changed from being 'Volcanos View' to 'Atlantida Villas', so maybe some improvements have been made to address issues in earlier reviews. We arrived at 05:30 in the moning, off the night-ferry. We waited by the pool until 07:00, at which point the owner happily gave us tea and coffee, even though breakfast wasn't until 08:30. We were also provided breakfast, without having checked in, which was most welcome. Staff very helpful. The town is a few minutes walk (take the cliff top path, NOT the main road!), but that's part of the reason for staying here - getting away from the busy town.

Pool is OK, breakfast OK. Rooms clean and simply furnished, but adequate. We ate out a couple of times, and brought food back to our room to enjoy on our balcony with wine and the sunset on one night. Highly recommend the boat tour of volcano / hot springs / Thirissa - book ahead as it gets busy!!

PS - don't understand complaints about the 'small tv' - surely you're not here to watch tv??
