Nomikos was the best spot in Santorini that I could have booked to stay. It was recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed. The setting is superb. It's only a small villa but has everything that you could want. We had a room by the pool, which we knew was going to be small, but it was all we needed. The bed was comfortable and the aircon was really good. You can have breakfast up on the balcony, for 2 people, which is what we chose and the view was to die for. The breakfast was basic but still good. Giga was our go to man and he was very helpful from serving the breakfast to making sure the umbrella was ready to use. The staff were great. Irene was so helpful and full of knowledge. The rooms are cleaned each day and the ladies are lovely. We had the best time here and would recommend to anyone. The pool is great.

Room tip: Would stay upstairs next time. If there's noisy people by the pool till late, it would disturb your sleep if in room by the pool.

This review is for Nomikos Travel in Karterados, affiliated to the villas. We were sold ferry tickets to the wrong destination. I admit I didn’t notice the error before arriving at the port but the agency refused to change the tickets. No one even responded to my messages/emails.
We purchased 5 SeaJets ferry tickets for August 11th from Naxos to Mykonos. Instead, we were sold tickets to Santorini. Again, I understand it was a simple human error but I’m very upset at the fact that after several attempts, no one has reached out.
We had to purchase tickets all over again and wait 4 hours at the port with a small child. Terrible experience.

We had the pleasure of staying only 3 nights, but it was certainly worth it. Our suite was large and very comfortable, with the direct view of the volcano. We were very lucky to watch the sunset 3 nights in a row, and each time it took our breath away. The staff was lovely and very knowledgable - nothing seemed too much trouble. We were given some lovely dinner recommendations and other attractions worth seeing. The town is close by & accessible within a 10m walk. We walked/hiked from Fira to Oia, and it took us 2.5hrs. I’d highly recommend good walking shoes, plenty of water and sunscreen before heading out, as there aren’t many places to stop on the way to Oia past a certain point, and there isn’t much shade you could hide in. It’s a lovely hike and you can take a bus on the way back which will drop you 5m walk away from the villa. Oia is definitely on a must see list, but the afternoons are really busy and the narrow streets of Oia get super crowded, so it’s best to head out early hours of the morning. All in all - great stay, amazing staff, gorgeous views & a very relaxing atmosphere.

Very quiet place over looking the Caldera.
Beautiful place with large rooms and lovely Staff. Plenty of places to eat within a short stroll. Not too far from main hub of Fira.
A little getting used to not flushing toilet paper down the toilets, but that was a minor thing compared to the overall beauty of the place.
Definitely spend a week or more to experience all that Santorini has to offer.

Room tip: Rooms on the first level would be quieter than at pool level.

The accomodation is a little hard to find for Santorini beginners but once there you will be fine. Our room was lovely so big for Santorini we had a suite, we were so happy here. Nomikos is in a great location easy to get to busses and taxis and an array of food outlets closeby. The staff were very nice and super efficient. Highly recommended.
