Great location and clean rooms!! The staff were very helpful, and I will stay here next time I'm in Santorini. The hotel does airport and ferry transfers as well which are extremely useful.
Go check out Mammas house, a great place down the road for breakfast.

The hotel is only a couple of minutes' walk to the shops and restaurants. The owners picked us up at the port, even if we called without announcing the time of our arrival. He suggested a few nice places to visit and provided help whenever requested.

It was great to wake up before dawn, walk to the bakery and eat a fresh pastry while looking at the sunrise.

We booked based on ratings here on TripAdvisor and were not disappointed. We weren't aware we were to be picked up at the ferry port and so traveled by city bus to locate the hotel. It was a bit difficult to find with our suit cases in tow as it's tucked down between roads near a parking lot. We were very warmly welcomed and there were many apologies for missing us at the port and then we received a very detailed introduction to Santorini by George, the owner. His service throughout our 3 day stay was phenomenal and he was a great source of info. We enjoyed our stay in Santorini using San Giorgio as our base and had no difficulty using bus/foot to get anywhere we wanted, as the hotel is very close to the Fira bus station.

We would highly recommend this hotel to any traveler seeking value for money and great service and we plan to stay there in the future!

Room Tip: We booked a triple for a bit more space in the room and we were very pleased with our main floor roo...

This hotel experience was by far the worst on our one month island hopping in Greece. We booked our August stay in this hotel in March to avoid the chaos when we arrived and to secure a hotel we thought had a good reputation. We booked through booking.com. I had emailed the owner twice prior as well as called two days before our arrival to confirm they were going to pick us up from the port. Even with all that planning he managed to forget about us and I was left to find him at the port. While there he also took in a few other guests including a group of girls who hadn't prebooked and who he told he had availability to. We were driving up and he told only us to get out. Told us some story about how another guest had been injured and needed one more day at the hotel therefore our room wasn't ready (even though that other group of girls was told there was room) He dropped us off at another hotel which conveniently turned out to be his brothers hotel, Renas Villas, which his brother was so kind as to fill in his vacancies with us. FYI, never told us it was his brother; found out when we got home reading tripadvisory. The room was horrid. The door had literally been kicked in and was hanging on by a thin peice of wood. The bathroom was so old and tiny. They tried to tell us the Renas Villas room was more expensive and he was covering the costs. Scared us for what was coming. The service there was fine. Next day we moved to San Giorgio. Hotel was very good. Nice rooms good service and we were almost willing to forget the scam he pulled when we got there until the final incident. He confirmed he would be picking us up at 8 am from the hotel to take us to the port. Never showed and we were left rushing with no time to find an alternative which was hard that early. Ended us paying 17euros for a cab. We would have missed our ferry had it not been late He emailed saying he was caught at the airport ( ya right) and was going to mail us the money. Never got it. The nice rooms and service didn't make up for all the lies that came out of his month. Booking.com was useless as well. Book knowing you don't really know where you'll be staying.

The introductory briefling on the recommended local attractions and activities by hotel staff among the best I've heard, very helpful. Though not on the cliffside, for us turned out to be a great location logistically.

Overall we had a good stay, the guy at the front desk was of great help. Location is fantastic, right in the middle of fir but only problem is the hotel is a little hidden n near a parking lot...gerenally safe. Rooms are a little run-down and bit small, but considering the value for money it acceptable. Feels much like a hostel but when we stayed there...most of the quest were girls/woman so it felt pretty safe.

San Giorgio was absolutely fantastic. We got picked up on time from our ferry and the stay was perfect.

When we got there we had a drink waiting and got a full introduction to Santorini with highlights, recommendations and directions. It was the best introduction I've had to a new place anywhere in the world.

The staff were extremely helpful and made our stay an absolute pleasure - nothing was too difficult and they really made us feel at home.

Also a great location in Fira it is really quiet but 1 minute's walk from the main square.

Highly recommend
