“Lovely cottage”
Reviewed June 8, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

This was a lovely cottage with picturesque views and it was very tranquil. It's ideal for exploring the surrounding countryside, towns, etc. We had our miniature schnauzer with us and he just loved it. The only very slight downside was that there was no secure area for him to run around and he had to be kept on the lead at all times. Other than that, it was a lovely holiday for a week. The owners are very helpful too, which is a plus.

Liked best: Peace and quiet
Liked least: No secure area for the dog, but that was a minor inconvenience as he was kept on lead.

Management Response
10 Jun 2015
Delighted you enjoyed your stay. Our properties here are pet friendly and we do welcome a lot of dog owners to all 3 of our cottages. It is an important point to highlight that none of our garden areas are fenced in, and as you have quite rightly said we do encourage guestsl to keep dogs on lead in the vicinity of the houses and near the livestock in the fields. There are many temptations - sheep, pheasants, rabbits, ducks, hares, roe deer, hens and alpacas. Being in the country though there is access to many local walks and we are happy to guide guests on that.

“Lovely cottage, well placed and great surroundings”
Reviewed November 11, 2014 for a stay in October 2014

Honeysuckle Cottage was very comfortable and well equipped, we used the log fire every night (October in Scotland!). Well placed for trips we had to make to Dundee, Aberdeen, Perth and Edinburgh during the week and the dog had a whale of a time in the stubble fields. We have been trying to find a tattie masher like the one there since we came home as it made the creamiest mashed potato. Also very much appreciated tap water which was lovely to drink and not smelling of chlorine like mains water.
