I read the reviews for Sidewalk Bistro and couldn't wait to eat there. We took a day trip to Nyack and Piermont, and planned to eat lunch here. What a wonderful experience! Charming, relaxing, quaint, and wonderful food!! Easy to find but in a slow paced town that just lends itself to relaxing and watching the world go by on a lazy summer afternoon. We had the Cassarole d'escargots, croquet monsieur, and moules poulette. I thought the portions were just right and the food outstanding! The mussels were delicious!! Waiter(s) were attentive and nice. Just cannot say anything bad about this restaurant. We will be back here, especially in the early Fall to enjoy the leaves. We ate on the back patio, which is just perfect. This is probably a great place for dinner as well. Enjoy!!!
