There is no charge but then there's not much to see. We got involved in an escorted guide. The guy told us more about the village than the railway. Should I go again I would rather meander round and read the info on the walls..

Only open on Sundays and situated on a steep hill with a very tricky bend.

Train Station was closed for renovation but Erie Path was lovely. Although some muddy spots, nice leveled little place to walk with no hills. Dog friendly so be careful where you step not everyone picks up after their dog. Such a shame!

The Train Station is magical - it's like a journey back in time. Many of the pieces in the station are from a bygone era that not only educates but gives us an appreciation of what it was like "back in the day".

Great trek, never a problem other than the weather and an occasional rude biker or jogger. The trail, which is not paved, could be better kep, especially at the Sparkill/Piermont segment. A couple of benches along the way might be welcomed by elderly travalers. The gates at some junctures remain closed, however, and a biker needs a tough navigation to stay aboard as one skirts the gate.

This small two-story train station is beautifully preserved and from time to time local people give lectures on personalities and events of the past.

The town surrounding the station is filled with interesting houses, well worth stopping for a few moments whether on the trail or on the highway.
