1 review We were planning a quiet getaway and what we found by renting this rustic annex house was everything Barbara and Clark promised us on Trip Advisor. It was straight out of a fairly tale the cabin was amazing, the rooms were delightful, and the kitchen included everything I needed to make wonderful meals while we stayed. It was so impressive and we had the best four days that we had in a long time thanks to Barbara and Clark. We will be coming back again!!

1 review We were looking for a quick and relaxing getaway before summer was over. I took a gamble on this cabin and we were pleasantly surprised! The property was 100% as advertised and we loved every minute. Aside from the cabin itself, the hostess with the mostest was an added bonus, with a personal tour of the roaring river and the studio.

my husband & i were planning a quiet getaway and what we found by renting this rustic annex house was a glorious rush of pleasant surprises!! ..starting with the caves nearby which were quite impressive to explore, and the secluded nearby river which is part of the Dunham's property was extraordinary..!! straight out of a picture book!!!!....then, for the finale, we got to tour Clark Dunham's studio where he displayed his broadway stage's architectural plans for the likes of Leonard Bernstein !!! (lots of creative conversations with Barb as well)
So impressive and pleasantly surprised by our entire weekend...such a lovely Adirondacks experience..will never forget it (or them)

The most disappointing part of this rental was the lack of Wifi, which was advertised but is actually not working. The only way to get Wifi is to go to the larger towns in the area, or ask the owner to use the wifi that is available in only one room of the house. You will not feel comfortable doing this. The bed, linen, pillows, and blankets are very old and in poor condition.

It was a great memorial day week end with friends in the Adirondacks.
We really enjoy the place and the areas, which is perfect when you want to enjoy a peaceful and charming place where you feel like home.
Barbara and Clark are amazing host !
Everybody should have a stay in the Annex !

Had a wonderful stay at the Annex. A trip back in time, with all the modern conveniences. Highly recommend staying here if visiting the area. Owners Barbara and Clarke made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived.
Great location with two "don't miss" attractions within 5 minutes of the cabin. Railroads on Parade, owned and operated by Barbara and Clarke, is an amazing display of artistic talent and detail. The Natural Stone Bridge and Caves, just a stones throw from the cabin, offers the best work of mother nature herself.
If visiting the Adirondacks, this is the place to stay......
