We entered the restaurant with hopes of finding French cuisine in the middle of Rhinebeck New York. While we were suitably impressed by the food that we ate, it was certainly not a French menu and it was not what we expected.. The pastries were excellent and the appetizers were imaginative. All were tasty and wholesome. The main entrées did not live up to expectations. My wife had the special quiche that tasted pretty special for the first half and then became less special as she went on. I had the eggs Benedict. But there was far too little hollandaise sauce on the eggs and eggs were fried rather than poached. We suggest that the potential diner not rely on our reviews of those two entrées only. We were there for a Sunday brunch and perhaps the regular menu items are better. We were expecting a full menu with French items.
