I grew up visiting this park for baseball games my brother played in and us sledding in the winter. Never took walks until I was older and realized how much you could see and enjoy. Monroe County Water Authority has their main offices there and the county's largest water reservoir is there as well. Very tranquil area. There are some big trees. You can see so much from the top.

About .7 miles around the top of the reservoir with a wonderful view of the city and the hills to the south. Get up in the air and get some exercise, cooled by the water of the reservoir.

Cobbs Hill Park is very popular to locals in Rochester. It's a wonderful get away in the city. Once you are at the top of Cobb's Hill Park, you can see the city skyline. People frequent Cobb's Hill Park for many reasons: running, walking, cycling, dog walking, meeting friends, having a picnic. It's great for those looking to challenge themselves with some "hill work".

Cobbs Hill is mainly a city reservoir for drinking water. It also has a terrific view of the city skyline. You can drive around on the road or park and walk on the grass or just sit and take in the view. The best time is at sunset on a clear day. The parks in the city all have an interesting story. You can enjoy the parks better when you know their history. Wikipedia can help.
