I have always liked Homewood Suites, but my family’s experience here went over and above the others. It seems to be in the middle of nowhere but in fact is walking distance to SPAC and a very short drive from downtown restaurants, shops, etc.
The lobby is impressive and you can catch a glimpse of the amazing patio upon walking in. The staff greeting us were very friendly, efficient, and professional.
Our room was extremely spacious, with a full but compact kitchen and modern bathroom with the sink separated from the toilet and shower. The only thing I might change would be adding a door outside of the sink area.
The TV was oddly placed next to one of the two queen beds but could be pulled out from the wall and tilted from side to side.
There is an indoor pool and hot tub as well as a fitness room and small basketball court. The patio has a fire pit and plenty of chairs and a pavilion with grill.
Free breakfast was better than expected.
This hotel really has it all and when we stayed was very reasonable.

I was running late for work and realized I forgot a very expensive ring. Remembering they didn’t enter the room the day before I left it, assuming I would get the room cleaned upon request. Upon my return, the first thing I noticed is the bed was made. I ran to the nightstand and to my surprise the ring had been moved to the center of the nightstand, as if to ensure it didn’t fall to the floor.
As always great staff, clean rooms, loved the bathroom, shower door! We definitely return if I find myself in the area again

My mother-in-law made reservations here for me and my husband as well as other family members last weekend. We were very happy with the quality and comfort of the room, but our favorite part was the continental breakfast. When we entered the breakfast area on Monday morning, we were greeted joyfully by Vam, the gentleman managing the area. He was so pleasant, and was even ready to come to my rescue when I struggled to flip the waffle iron. He kept the area tidy and well-stocked and it was just so nice to have such a comforting interaction on a Monday morning - especially because we were all in town for a funeral that day. Vam was just as delightful the next morning, and we shared a brief celebration when I successfully turned the waffle iron with no trouble. The hotel itself was wonderful, the breakfast was delicious and had great variety, and everyone we spoke with was kind and helpful. Vam made the whole experience spectacular.
