“Good meal ...worth a visit”
Reviewed 16 February 2012

Had dinner here on Friday evening before V'Day. Everything was tasty. We did some sharing and enjoyed Thai style hot and sour soup with vegetables, miso soup, dumplings, shumai, salmon sushi, beef satay and beef teriyaki with vegetable tempura. Vegetables were very fresh. Only criticism is we would have liked carrots cooked a bit more. Staff was very attentive; water glasses were never empty. On street parking is available, but not abundant in the neighborhood. So you may need to walk a bit. We will definitely go back and I know my son will be ordering from here while at school, as they do delivery for a small charge. A good find in the downtown area.

“Best Sushi in Saratoga and the Capital Region”
Reviewed 29 January 2012

The fish here is fresh. Every item. Every time. This might not seem like great praise but these statements cannot be made about some restaurants that serve sushi in this area. Of course if you order the softshell crab roll out of season, you will get frozen crab but you should already know that. Otherwise, the quality and texture of the fish is very good indeed.

The cooked Thai dishes vary. None are bad but while some, such as the Gai Gra Prow are excellent--very flavorful and spicy as it should be--others options are average, not bad, just not special.

Service here is fast. This is great if you are in a hurry or on busy nights as the wait is kept to a minimum but if you plan to linger over dinner, then you should choose another restaurant. Sushi Thai has 2 locations: one in Saratoga and another in Clifton Park. The quality of the food and service is the same at both so during the "season" you can avoid the crowds by heading down to Clifton Park. You will not be disappointed.

“Solid”
Reviewed 15 January 2012

It was great when I was working in downtown Saratoga and could go there for lunch or dinner. Just solid, good food every time. Unpretentious and fairly priced.

“Great duck”
Reviewed 3 January 2012

Great meal but hated the tv on above us. Why do restaurants feel they have to entertain us with a large screen television when their food is enough? And here, it is. Try this place.

“Good sushi and Thai. Service could be warmer.”
Reviewed 22 December 2011

The food is very good, both the Sushi and the Thai. I would advise going for lunch, the menu is basically the same, but the prices are much more reasonable. A good sized plate of Pad Thai is in the 7-8 dollar range. The service is kind of "mechanical". Been here twice, not a lot of smiles or extra words exchanged. Othe than this, had two great lunches.
