I was part of a group of 5 that stopped here for breakfast. Althought the place was half empty, we waited 45 minutes for our meals. Two of the five meals were incorrect- I ordered 3 pancakes and got one- the last two arrived 15 minutes later after sitting on the kitchen pass through until they were good and cold. When it finally came, the bill was wrong.

Went to breakfast with my wife on our anniversary. As we walked in, noticed the place had been renovated. Later found out there were new owners as well. Decor was much brighter than previous visits. Changes were nice. We sat at a table where we could see through the new pass-thru window into the kitchen area. Waitress was pleasant. Our large OJ's came to us quickly but we soon found out it was not "real", it tasted watered down from a concentrated mix. As we waited for our order, we noticed a few issues with the kitchen staff. Let me add, part of my job description includes food safety. We noticed the woman not using gloves to handle toast, bacon, and when adding the plate garnish. After slicing a banana for another order, with no gloves on, she ate the last small piece then wiped her hands on a towel. She buttered several toast, pancake and french toast orders with no gloves, picking up the top layer of each to get to the layer below, again, all with no gloves on. There were several other "issues" we noticed while waiting. Not once did she wash her hands in the 45 minutes we were there. Luckily our order was not something requiring her "personal touch". The home fries were the only part of our order that seemed to be homemade. Everything else tasted as if it was packaged or pre-made. Definitely not what we expected. Didn't like the fact that I had to pay extra for real maple syrup. After we ate, we paid the bill, prices had gone up significantly. We did leave a 20% tip for the waitress as we can't blame her for our show, she was good in her work. Probably won't be going back anytime soon. My biggest suggestion: a Serve-Safe course for everyone, including the owners.
