After having dinner at a popular restaurant in Armory Square we decided to try Bittersweet after hearing such wonderful reviews. We weren't disappointed. The server was very friendly and the desserts were delectable. I would recommend this nice place.

Lunch here with coworkers. The Panini's were outstanding but wow the desserts were awesome! We'll be back.

My boyfriend and I went here for a late dinner and had a fabulous time. The room had dimmed lights and it was very cozy. Nothing fancy, so don't go here if you're looking for fine dining. The food tasted great, and their desserts even better! I thought it was a great place to go for a date and cant wait to go again.

We visited Bittersweet after dining in armory square tonight. We were lucky to find nearby on street parking. The interior is warm and cozy on this frigid January night.soft music was not intrusive .
There are a number of tables along the wall and a long bar . There were a couple of couples , one party of 8 and a few people at the bar. The bartender greeted us and gave us our choice of seats , we opted for the padded bar stools. The menu lists salads , paninis , cheese plates and in house created desserts. There are specials along with the menu offerings.
There is an extensive wine list , reasonably priced selections, some draft beer options , sodas and coffee drinks .
We were given glasses of water and we ordered a cup of regular coffee and a cappuccino.
We asked our server what her favorite dessert was and followed her lead in ordering the death by chocolate cake .
Dense rich chocolate layer cake with chocolate mouse filling and topped with decadent chocolate ganache served with fresh whipped cream .
The slice of cake was the prefect size for sharing.
We enjoyed our first visit to Bittersweet , quite sure that we will return .

Limited food options but terrific desserts and wines. Liked the wine options - can order wine as a tasting (2 oz), glass (5oz), or bottle.
