Our hotel did not include breakfast, so before heading for home on a Saturday morning, we stopped in for breakfast based on reviews.
This place was just hopping! There was an auction going on, so I think it may have been a bit busier due to that event, but I got the impression that it is always pretty steady business.
What struck us at first was how friendly the other patrons were...who were obviously locals. We actually started chatting with a family, and found out the wife was from our city. Small world for sure!!
Our food was delicious. It was a little slow coming out, but we were in no hurry so that was just fine. I had the breakfast sandwich with bacon instead of sausage, and hubby had the Western Omelet. Both breakfasts were fabulous.
We would stop at this friendly diner again if we were in the Verona area!!
