It was an amazing four days’ trip from Marrakech to Sahara Desert. We were accompanied by tour guy Hassan and Driver Abdou. Our total times in Morocco were 8 days.

Hassan is very passionate about his jobs and care very much about his customers. Abdou was friendly and a reliable driver.

Throughout the trip we have learned about Barber life and cultures. Past by many small towns and villages. Walk through blossom almond trees farm beside a long clear river on a sunny day. Visited rose valley to looked/inhaled their magnificent rose products. Saw beautiful mountains sceneries and experienced warm spring season of Morocco.

It was an extraordinary experience. The only part I feel like I have left with regret was that we didn't get to stay at the desert long enough. We got to Sahara Desert about 5:30pm, stayed overnight and left the next morning about 9:30am. The camel guy wasn't very patient with us. In fact, I think he was quite rude in the end. (later on we learn that it was because we didn't tipped people often enough. so he kind of got an impression of that we won't tip him as well). We didn't want to missed getting on our only transport back to the car so we left in a hurry and didn't really get to enjoy the sun and desert itself (It was quite cold before 9am in the desert, it started to get warm after 9ish. It was very pleasant to lay on the cold sand and enjoy the warmth from the sun).

The luxury tent is definitely a good choice if you are looking for a more relax experience. Each tent has individual private shower and toilet. tents are made of thing wood cardboards and white fabrics. Each tent has two comfortable beds. I know some might say that it wouldn't be a night at the desert. It is simply not raw enough. But we were pretty happy to see these luxury tents after a long day drive and we thought it was money well spend (extra 50 pounds pp).

On the way back to Marrakech. Abdou and Hassan stop at a local village to buy dry dates and Henna. it was quite interesting to see the local market. our tour guy Hassan was very kind to share some Henna with us and got one of the girl from the hotel to make it into paste and draw it on our hands.

Last day of our trip we went for Ait Ben Haddou. The walk in old town is quite enjoyable. There were many shops and painters along the way. Then Hassan and Abdou took us back to Marrakech dropped off our baggage back to our Riad. And then went extra mile driving us to a spa place that we had appointments with.

Food wise, the restaurants they picked are all very clean and reliable with decent meals. You will see many other tourists as well.

Overall it was a very pleasant trip and I would recommend Trek in Altas Day Tours for people.

My partner and I arranged a last minute two day trek in the mountains - just the day before we wanted to go. Hassan was very accommodating and organised what was a great 2day trip! We were picked up on time from our Riad in Marrakech and were dropped off at the end of our trip.

Hassan has fantastic English and his knowledge of the Atlas Mountains, Berber villages, culture and history was brilliant. We enjoyed great food and great company along the way. We stayed overnight in one of the villages which was a great experience.

Hassan, his family and friends were all so welcoming and treated so well. A great way to get out of the crazy hustle and bustle of Marrakech and get a better understanding and flavour of the true Morocco. Definitely the best part of our week in Marrakech!

I would highly recommend Hassan at Trek in Atlas! Our friends and family are already keen to visit following our stories upon our return back to the UK!

A five day trek with my daughter and sister, organised from the UK. From start to finish this was professionally organised by people who really seemed to care. We told Hassan, trip director, what we wanted (a five day trek in early February without too many big mountains or a lot of snow) ........and they delivered.

We were collected in Marrakesh and returned by drivers who even took the care to stop to take a call on their mobiles! The circular village to village itinerary took us up a few steep passes, necessary for the breath taking views, and some charming, isolated villages. We were left plenty of time to paint, read books, watch women washing clothes in the river, drink orange juice at the top of a mountain...... in fact anything we wanted to do. Our guide, Mohammed was so chilled, helpful and informative and even took us for tea and walnuts at his own house on the last day. Our cook and muleteer, Hussein, made two fabulous meals every day in addition to breakfast. Accommodation in the gites is very basic but fine when all you want to do is eat, sleep and play cards.... and it made the luxury of the last night in the Riad in Imlil all the more enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble and I would recommend this company without hesitation.

From start to finishing we had an amazing time.

When booking our 3 day Saharan trip we looked various tour operators and decided Trek in Atlas seemed well reviewed and reasonably priced. And they didn't disappoint. Even before the trip started they were helpful and answering all our questions via email quickly and to the point.

We were collected from our Riad by a smiling Hassan who would be our guide for the next three days. He spoke perfect English (having lived in the U.K.) and was a font of information - but also happy to admit when he didn't know something, rather than make it up.

There were so many highlights it hard to single any out but we loved the gorges, the beautiful rugs made by hand (we bought 3), and the night in the Saharan desert. Although riding camels for more than 10 minutes was is a painful, but worthwhile, experience!

We enjoyed the trip so much that we booked Hassan to take us on a 1 day trip to the Atlas Mountains. Which was equally fascinating and fun.

I can't recommend Trek in Atlas highly enough!

Thanks again for an amazing trip!

After the hustle and bustle and pushy nature of Marrakesh's Medina it was a relief to see The Trek Atlas driver arrive at our hotel on time and whisk us off to the peace and tranquility of the mountains.
We were taken to meet Hassan who was there to welcome us with Mint Tea and friendly chit chat. We also met our Guide Hussain who was equally as friendly straight away the set about making sure we had all we need and were prepared for what lay ahead. Both spoke excellent English and all my concerns over the organisation of the forth coming days disappeared.
I was particularly worried about the welfare of the Mule but I put my trust in Hassan when he assured me the Mule would be well look after and not carrying ridiculous loads. I was pleased to see that again 'Frankel' (as we called her) look healthy well and perfectly happy. The heaviest load she carried was me for the last 45mins of the trek.
The trek itself was beautiful, tough and cold for the most part but an amazing experience!
Hussain was chatty and spoke openly about his way of life and Moroccan culture. the time passed quickly as we chatted.
He made sure throughout that we had all we needed and were happy and was patient with us when things got tough.
Although the refuge was basic and extremely cold in the bedrooms, it was pretty clean and the staff were excellent. Very hospitable and kind.
The food throughout the trip (mainly cooked by Frankel's owner) was both plentiful and delicious.
Not a trip to be taken lightly but well organised by hospitable and kind people. It really made our holiday!
I swore I would never go back to Marrakesh but we are already planning our return to go to the Saharah with the Trek Atlas Team next year!
