Beautiful scenic farm not far from the northern darkensberg. Quaint town of Winterton not far. There is 6.5km of dirt track to the farm. Accommodation is comfortably and tastefully decorated. Outdoor shower which is fantastic in the summer months. Hosts are friendly and welcoming and go out of their way to help you. Small bar on farm and dinner can be provided but booking is essential. Play park and pool make it great fun for the kids, as well the immense grassed area which is safely closed off by gates and fences. Fantastic family holiday.

Wow!! This place is special!! Our 2 story spacious cottage was on the perimeter which gave us an unobstructed view of the open fields. The kitchen comes with everything you need and there is a BBQ outside. The breakfasts are simple yet incredible. The bar works on a honor system (grab what you like, but write it in the book) and the pool area is fantastic. The dogs on the property were a huge bonus! They came and hung out with us during the day and night and we all bonded pretty quickly. That being said, if you don't like super friendly dogs that just want to hang out then this spot might not be for you. All provisions can be purchased in Bergville or Winterton. Even though Winterton is a few kilometers further I'd suggest shopping there as Bergville was a bit sketchy in my opinion.

I can't say enough good things about this place. Is so special, peaceful, charming and relaxing. Do not pass this place up!!

We spent the weekend at Dalmore Guest Farm and it was great. The accommodation is very comfortable and the rooms are beautifully decorated. The bathrooms are awesome. We had breakfasts and dinners both days and the quality of the food is very good. The setting of Dalmore is very peaceful and its lovely to experience the farm. The hosts really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I would highly recommend a stay here.

A group of us went for a cycling weekend. Great trails as part of the Berg and Bush. Guest House is lovely and homely. Very "farmy" and the owners are very hands-on. Our room was very nice and the beds very comfortable. The bathroom only had a bath which took forever to fill up - maybe showers are a better option? Food was tasty although probably should have food specification as a lot of red meat on offer. Breakfasts were good too although running out of bacon isn't great. On the whole it was a beautiful venue and easy travelling for people from Jhb and Dbn sides to meet.

We had the opportunity to stay at Dalmore, as a friend of ours was getting married in the area. So we decided to bring the kids and make a weekend of it.

From the moment you arrive you feel as if your weekend has started. The farm is beautiful and peaceful and the accommodation comfortable.

It really is the perfect place to come and unwind. There's a kids play area, a pool area, amazing dogs and cats that lie at your feet, or wait at the door in the morning to be let in so they can say hello, before they run off again.

The only negative for me is that we couldn't stay longer!

I would recommend this to anyone, couple or family, looking for a place to get away a bit, and be part of nature.
